For those golfing enthusiasts, tee off at the Trump Turnberry Golf Resort whilst those history buffs can wander the spacious grounds of Culzean Castle, which was once the playground of David Kennedy.
Eight miles away lies the coastal town of Ayr, offering many shops where you can pick up souvenir to take home, enjoy a day of browsing the high street shops, or head to the beach and enjoy sandcastle building and, on a clear day, admire glorious views of Ailsa Craig. Further outdoor exploration awaits at the Galloway Forest Park, where you can discover picturesque forest trails, three friendly visitor centres, wonderful wildlife and a long and colourful history.
