Pig House

This place ticked all our boxes. Beautifully decorated property. Lovely huge hot tub, garden was enclosed so perfect for our dog. Great enclosed separate dog walk area too. Pig House was spotless and everything had been thought of, and the welcome gifts of local produce was a lovely touch too and delicious!! We would definitely recommend and will be booking again!

The accommodation was excellent in most ways and we had a wonderful time. Our only issues were with the seating in the living room The sofas did not support us , there was no back or lumbar support in the long sofa provided, it was problem for everyone to some extent and I ended up in bringing a wooden garden chair inside , but I managed in the end. It would be good if one of the ensuite bathrooms had a grab handle for extra support. Otherwise we had a wonderful holiday, the jacuzzi was very enjoyable especially on Christmas day and the surrounding beaches were superb.

A wonderful accommodation which manages to retain the character and charm of the original buildings with every modern conveniences. So comfortable, clean and in a quiet setting with easy access to surrounding areas. We were so impressed with the heat pump and the environmental use of refuse, an example of real green technology.

This has to be the best place we have stayed in and we have been in many self catering cottages. The welcome tray was much appreciated after a long journey. Ideal location for exploring beautiful Cornwall. This cottage had everything we needed for a very enjoyable holiday and we will definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time overall. The barn itself is absolutely beautiful, and the location is fantastic. The welcoming treats were a lovely touch, and the hot tub and sound system were a real bonus that made the stay feel extra special. There were a few drawbacks, though. The temperature setup was a bit restrictive we often felt too warm even though the weather was fairly mild. It was especially noticeable at night a lighter duvet for the summer months would really help. At the same time, we struggled to dry our towels after use, as there wasnt really anywhere to air them out. A few more hooks in the bathroom or even a line outside would make a big difference. There also werent any oven gloves, which made cooking a bit awkward. Something small but worth fixing for future guests. We were also surprised to be asked to strip all the beds before leaving. We've never been asked to do this at other properties, and with a 930am checkout and a long journey ahead, it felt like an extra task that really should be handled by the cleaning team. One last thing to note. When we ran the washing machine to clean up a few things after a rainy day, there was a strong drain smell while it was on, which wasnt pleasant. That said, the barn is a stunning place to stay, and with a few small tweaks, it would be pretty close to perfect.

Our second stay at Pig House and we love it and hope to stay again. The music system is loved by us all and the hot tub is a real treat. Thank you for the goodies on arrival. House was spotlessly clean. Surrounding areas are great to explore the neighbouring gardens, beaches and Falmouth. Only suggestions to improve a drying rack for washingdrying clothes and a coffee machine. Thank you

Lovely place , perfect for a one year old and a dog , had everything we needed , great location

I can't recommend the Pig House enough! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners have thought of every detail to ensure a perfect getaway. The cottage was absolutely spotless, and we felt instantly comfortable and relaxed. There was everything you needed for a stressfree holiday fullyequipped kitchen, great tv, amazing ensuites and the living spaces were perfect for unwinding. Of course, the hot tub was a highlight a great way to unwind after exploring the local area. Another major plus was the cottage's ideal location. Pig House has a great location and is wonderfully accessible to a range of local attractions, both Trebah and Glendurgan gardens are beautiful, Falmouth is a mustvisit and so many scenic countryside and coastal walks on the doorstep. Our 16 year old dog settled immediately, and the garden was perfectly secure for him to explore at his glacial pace! Pig House offers the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and convenience. It's a gem, and we can't wait to return!

We have just returned home from the Pig House and are already thinking about when we can return. Everything was perfect every detail is taken care of and to arrive with a fully decorated Christmas tree was a really nice touch. The accommodation is decorated beautifully, exceptionally modern in its fixtures and fittings and felt like home as soon as we walked in. The exercise pen for the dog was a definite bonus. We will return just as soon as we can. I can't recommend this property highly enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

The property was fabulous and in a great location too. The barn was fitted out to a high spec and all the details were appreciated. We had a lovely stay and hope to return in the future!

Great property. Very comfortable stay..Sorry forgot to write in the visitors book ,we were a bit preoccupied Thursday back home. The appliance tech can be a bit baffling, for an oap, youngsters sorted it out.

Our fourth stay at Boskensoe Barns, a first at The Pig House, and again a wonderful stay. A very luxurious property in a lovely location. Very comfortable for 6 adults. The village pub is a nice traditional pub with good food. A bit further afield we would recommend the Royal Standard at Flushing and The Pandora Inn Mylor Bridge. Looking forward to our return in September!

Stayed a week and could have stayed much longer . This is an exceptional property and if you are looking at this property do not hesitate to book you will not be disappointed. The quality and layouts well designed and the location is fantastic.. If you have a dog, this is for you. It is dog friendly and has local walks and its own secure exercise area. The garden is secure for children and pets. Organised a Waitrose delivery on arrival and a great local shop in the village. We will book this property again if and when we return to the area. One of the best properties we have ever stayed in faultless!

Really love holiday home

Absolutely fantastic cottage in a stunning part of Cornwall. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at The Pig House and other members of our family stayed just across the courtyard at The Stable. The Pig House had everything we needed and what we found particularly useful as part of a large group was that there wasnt just 6 of everything in the kitchen. All 9 of us from the Pig House and The Stable were able to eat and drink together without carrying plates and glasses between properties. The enclosed garden and dog exercise area were also very useful for our lively cocker spaniel! We had a wonderful time and will definitely recommend these properties to friends and family and will stay again next time we visit this area of Cornwall.

We had a fantastic time at the Pig House. Very comfortable with plenty of space for six adults and two dogs. The weather was mixed add it was by lovely to be able to come home to the hot tub on a mizzly day. On one occasion we had a problem with a shower and Mark sorry I think that was the name was straight across to fix it, despite being a Sunday evening. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful property with everything you need, immaculately presented, comfy beds, top quality fixtures and fittings, superb garden area secure for the pooch fabulous hot tub, lovely garden furniture to sit at whilst you have your breakfast and your barbecue, fantastic secure area to exercise the dog, could not fault a thing, just lush!

Absolutely loved Pig House! Beautiful decor, lots of space, the ability to create great ambience with the dimmable lighting, surround sound and woodburner in the evening. Great location, in a small village away from everything but still only 10min away from Falmouth. The property was very clean, well maintained and the selection of local produce to welcome us was a sweet touch. Only bit of feedback would be to put in a coffeenespresso machine but thats about it

We had a wonderful stay at The Pig House. Such a beautiful property which made us feel at home as soon as we walked in! We were welcomed with beautiful fresh flowers and a package of milk, bread and some other local produce. Even our two dogs were catered for with a water bowl, mat and biscuits. The hot tub was amazing and the garden perfect for our dogs, as well as the enclosed play field. Absolutely fantastic stay we had, despite the weather, and the best place we have stayed in! Really want to go back but get in quick as it gets booked up fast!

Wow! Just wow. The Pig House was just gorgeous. We couldnt have wanted for anything more. Location was perfect, everything has been thought of & provided. Super clean & comfortable. Didnt want to leave! Would go back tomorrow.

Great stay, great place absolutely perfect set up cant fault! Everything is immaculate, everything thought of. Never known such comfortable beds in a holiday home! And bathrooms were top hotel standard! Would definitely visit again and whileheartedly recommend!

Utterly amazing. Such a lovely place to get away from everything and everyone was extremely friendly and the cottage was immaculate. I do always find it a little odd though, when spending so much money and with a full day with no access for cleaning and the place was beautifully clean, that your asked to strip your beds and bag up your towels. It's probably me as lots if cottages do it but it's not the nicest way to end such a lovely indulgent week.

Pig House was extremely well appointed and very comfortably furnished. It was particularly suited for a family holiday and we very much enjoyed our stay there. We would definitely like to return to Boskensoe Barns if family circumstances permitted.
