Peartree Cottage Reviews

Really enjoyed our family stay here! The pictures didn't do it justice. It was clean throughout and the space is massive! Both bedrooms were really big as was the living space and it was all very comfy. The shower was huge! It really had so much charm and was in a fantastic location being close to the beach as well as the main promenade. It was really private too. The outdoor area was super clean and again, massive! The hot tub was already on warm and ready when we arrived. The owner was so lovely and went above and beyond for us during our stay. I cant thank them enough and were already looking at dates for a return next summer. Thank you for having us. Happy holidaymakers here!
We had a lovely stay at Peartree Cottage. The property was very spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to relax, and it was clean when we arrived. The location was excellent, with shops, the beach and other amenities all within easy reach, making it really convenient. The cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and made a great base for exploring Skegness. Wed happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.

We stayed at the cottage with 3 adults and 2 children 3yr old & a 15month old. The cottage was lovely however it wasnt the cleanest and just gave the impression that little bits of maintenance or upkeep were missed ie, skirting boards were dirty, no door stencil on the bedroom door with bunkbeds in, dirty washing either off prev tenants was left in washing baskets, blinds on the doors for garden were wrecked, shower either didnt work or when it did it cut out and tripped the electrics in the house. There was a decent size hole in the living room by the step as if heading towards kitchen, aswell as a missing floor board in the main bedroom with double bed. But it was a lovely cottage and a bonus was the garden was enclosed for the dogs.
Cottage was very dirty Kitchen Very dirty Fridge has food lefted in itbins not emptyplates and pan had remained food on themoven dirty Sitting room Hold in floorno light bulbs in main sitting room light No internet Bathroom Dirtytoilet paper in the toilets Soap and ect from the last visitor Toilet wobbly Shower ,a watering can and some times trips out Bedroom Cleaner but no TV Only 1 lamp worked Garden Found large pieces of wood with nails on it Bench wobble Hot tubdirty and had panels missing Spoken to the landlord, who said it had been deep cleaned before we came and we could have cleaned again, while we are there but we were have to go out. But the cottage should be clean before we get there. He also inform me,that the cottage was used for emergency housing,if this was in the details.I would have not booked.I also contact skyes cottage because we think cottage has of safely issues and very dirty.

It was awful. We noticed when we arrived that one bedroom had no bedding, so got in touch with the caretaker who sorted this for us later. he left them in a binbag outside for us when we returned. The place was very dirty and smelled bad. The floor in the hallway and kitchen was dirty and greasy. There was a used filter in the coffee machine. Oven was greasy and dirty, with dirty pans in there. Kitchen cupboards full of dirty pans. There was a 4 inch round hole in the living room carpet and floorboard, looked like it had been done by an animal... Empty crisp packets under the bed. Filthy carpets and skirting boards. Used sanitary products in the bathroom bin. Broken toilet roll holder and used bar of soap on the bathroom shelf. Empty bottles on bathroom floor. One curtain missing on landing window. Blinds on patio doors broken and stained. We stayed one night we had booked for 4. We had to go out for breakfast as the kitchen was disgusting, and decided that we couldn't possibly stay there for another 3 nights, so returned the keys. We did speak to the Caretaker, who was helpful, and suggested that he would speak to the cleaners, and the Owner to arrange for a deep clean. We had no confidence that they would be able to make this place presentable, as it would need a team of professional cleaners in for a couple of days. Very disappointing and really spoiled our short holiday, as we had to quickly find another place to go. Never experienced anything anywhere near this before with a Sykes property.
We had a lovely stay. Ideal location as not far from the beach. The area is nice and quiet and shops a short walk away Met the owner who was keen to make sure we were ok. Hot tub was a hit with the family too

Place was not clean, hoover didn't work, no mop provided, whole place had a bad smell to it, carpet filthy we cut our stay short as we couldn't stay any longer. Real shame as the place could be lovely, location is great but the owners have let it down by not maintaining a good standard of maintenance and cleanliness.

What a welcoming holiday let, we stayed for two weeks. Hot tub perfect, Quiet location. Eateries and pub in walking distance. We took a Uber taxi down to clock tower area approx 5, but a nice walk too. Took my two small dogs whom felt immediately at home. All in all a fab time will definitely return.

It's a good property but needs to fix some issues like all of the TVs not working at all. No WiFi password to be given to us. And main thing specially in winter boiler drops the pressure after every few hours if you dont know how to fix it it will big trouble for anyone. And the last and main things The Hot Tub half of the hot tub wasn't work like no bubbles at all on half of the hot . BUT I STILL LIKE THE PROPERTY AND THE AREA WAS GOOD AND QUITE AND CLEANED TOO.
Lovely house, great host. Perfect location. Highly recommended

Awarded the Lincolnshire Family Attraction of the Year award in recent years this fun day out is recommended. You can see seals and penguins, as well as other animals in the popular pets corner.  Feeding time for the seals and penguins is the real highlight of the day. Entertainment, education and conservation are the main aims of this attraction. Natureland's work with abandoned baby seals has become known worldwide and it's carefully researched rearing and treatment program is now used by many other rescue centres.
Rushmoor Country Park - GU10 1ET

Located in Louth in Lincolnshire this is an ideal attraction when you want to get out in the fresh air and explore. There are many animals to see including ponies and piglets which the little ones love.  There are also some amazing birds from hawks and falcons to owls.  Most aspects of this attraction are included in the admission cost and as well as wandering around you get to hold and feed the animals too.  A real highlight are the micro pigs which are just like real pigs but in miniature.  Fully grown they are around the size of a spaniel!  If you get hungry then you can take your own picnic to the picnic areas or head for the tea room selling delicious food and children's meals too.
