If you have a large party of friends and family you will certainly be most comfortable at The Lynhurst. The house is huge, with plenty of rooms if you want some quiet time. The games room was a boon for us during some wet October days. The kitchen is the best equipped holiday accommodation I've ever stayed in. One rainy afternoon we had a Cornish pasties making masterclass and there was everything we needed including rolling pins and a food processor. The location in Lynton is so picturesque.

Amazing house in a great location. Well equipped and organised. Hosts very helpful. Our group loved it
Sam
Fantastic house and location - stunning views from the various balconies / verandas; spacious for 20 people and a dining table to accommodate all. Good games and musical instruments. One of the best large houses we have stayed in.
Michael

Lynhurst is a beautiful property set in a stunning landscape and with simply breathtaking views from several points in and out of the house. We were a large party of 18, celebrating my 70th birthday and I could not have wished for better memories to keep with me forever.

A big group of friends stayed for a birthday celebration, it was a great trip overall. Richard and Kate were very accommodating and responsive to any queries. The house has beautiful views, was well equipped & in a great location for walks, sea views & beaches. We had a Sainsburyââ?¬â?¢s delivery but no direct driveway so we offered to carry the food up to the house as was an easy walk, a trolly is also provided for this & luggage if needed. Thank you for accommodating a great birthday weekend!

A beautiful property in a gorgeous setting. We were a group of 13 with 4 dogs and were all very comfortable and had lots of space. The biggest problem was trying to work out which room to sit in for the best view! The property was very well equipped and the welcome hamper was a lovely touch. With lots of lovely walks from the property too, Iââ?¬â?¢d definitely recommend a stay here to others.

We booked the Lyndhurst for for a family weekend. The house was perfect for our requirements. It is well equipped, spacious with glorious views from the front of the house. There are also good walks from the property. We had no need to contact the owners whilst there, but Richard and Kate were very prompt with communications running up to our stay.

Very comfortable house in great location. Large Kitchen well equipped and great to cook in for larger groups. Most evenings spent around the dining room table planning next days walk. Games room is a recent addition and was well used by all ages. Would not hesitate to recommend..
Rachel
Lovely house in stunning location. The views were breathtaking! Had a lovely week over the New Year period, Richard the host was super friendly and had made the house super Christmassy with several Christmas trees. Would recommend for large groups.
Allan
Great house and location for a large family gathering
Kate
A brilliant house for large groups of people of all ages! The kitchen was so well equipped making catering for 19 a breeze and everyone enjoyed the outdoor table tennis. Beautiful gardens and a wonderful view of Lynmouth made it a stunning setting. Perfect position to get out to lots of different beaches and wonderful walks. Having en suites made getting through the showers very quick. Couldnââ?¬â?¢t recommend Lynhurst House enough 5*! Richard&Kate were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble!
Vivienne
A beautiful house and location. Although slope from carpark, and the house stairs are not for the faint hearted. The house was a little chilly (but it was a very cold week), but the owners changed the heat settings immediately on request. They were extremely helpful throughout the week. Would stay again again.
Deborah
Location was perfect. House was lovely with amazing views.
Catherine Jane
What a wonderful place to celebrate a special birthday! The views are amazing, there is lots to do nearby and the house is magnificent. The kitchen is really well equipped and it was great to have such a big dining table. We were a party of 17 and so having 10 bedrooms meant we had plenty of space for calm and relaxation for a bit if that is what we wanted. We will have to find another special occasion to celebrate here!
