Set on a complex with six other cottages, this charming home has many traditional features, access to an abundance of shared facilities, and welcomes groups of four. Set in a rural spot among the Norfolk Fens, you will find it super easy to explore the stunning and undulating Norfolk countryside.

There are many attractions within easy reach, too, including Sandringham Estate (14 miles) which has a range of events throughout the year, and the intriguing safari, Watatunga Wildlife Reserve (2.5 miles). The bustling town of King’s Lynn (8.5 miles) has many pubs and restaurants as well as several museums.

Pack up a picnic and head down to the beach at Snettisham (20 miles) or the Victorian resort of Hunstanton (20 miles). Hang up your coats and shake off your walking boots in the spacious hallway and get ready to cook up tasty treats in the practical cottage-style kitchen which has plenty of surface and storage space.

The charming lounge/diner is bright and airy, with comfortable sofas, a Smart TV, and a dining table for socialising, eating, and playing games. The French doors in the lounge open onto your own patio with picnic bench, sun loungers and BBQ.

As the day draws to a close, head upstairs and find two welcoming double bedrooms. One has a sumptuous four-poster bed, while the other has a characterful beamed ceiling.

A family bathroom completes the interior of the accommodation. Though there is no private outdoor space at this property, you will have access to all of the shared facilities on site.

Immediately outside is an outdoor swimming pool which is heated, and a separate building contains a hot tub and a sauna, alongside a games room with a pool table. Private parking for two cars is also provided.

We love this attraction in Scoulton, Norfolk with a great collection of animals.  Children and adults alike have the chance to get hands on with the animals in the special handling areas.  On rainy days there is always the indoor play area for the little ones and when it's time for a bite to eat the cafe on the farm is open all day selling drinks and snacks.  Hot food is available over lunch times.
Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens - NR21 0LN

if you and your family are interested in nature and wildlife then Pensthorpe Nature Reserve & Gardens is the perfect place for a day out. This beautiful area of national parkland is home to a huge range of common and rare birds from sparrows to Red Crowned Cranes and also has a red squirrel enclosure - part of a conservation programme and now home to a family of adorable squirrels. Other activities to enjoy at Pensthorpe include pond dipping and Landrover discovery tours. Pensthorpe also played host to BBC'S Springwatch in 2010.
National Horse Racing Museum - CB8 8JL

This is a museum with a difference and a must see if you are into horse racing.  You can take guided tours around the museum or choose to wander round yourself admiring the exhibits.  New for 2010 is a Junior Fun Tour which is ideal for children.  Simply ask the gallery staff for a Fun Tour pack when you enter the museum and kids can answer questions and spot clues and tips on the way round.  One of the most popular recent exhibitions is the Thoroughbred: State of the Art exhibition in Gallery 5 on until 31st October.  Check out their websites for the latest exhibitions.
