About Seaview

Seaview is a spacious, well-presented house in Pakefield near Lowestoft, Suffolk, offering parking, generous enclosed gardens and a welcoming hot tub for family and friends to enjoy together. Gather in the open-plan living space, where the kitchen, dining area and sitting area flow into one sociable hub, ideal for unrushed breakfasts, planning the day’s adventures and sharing stories in the evening.

The well-equipped kitchen invites guests to prepare family favourites, while the dining table sets the scene for celebratory suppers and special occasions. After dinner, drift across to the sitting area, where you can settle in front of the TV and unwind as a group.

Five bedrooms are set across the house, with three doubles, two of which include TVs, and two twin rooms offering flexible sleeping arrangements for multi-generational families or two families sharing. With two bathrooms offering a bath with shower over, and two additional shower rooms with walk-in showers, basins and WCs, there is plenty of space for everyone to get ready for beach days or evenings out without a rush.

Step outside through the bi-folding doors to the enclosed rear gardens, a real highlight, with lawns and a patio area furnished for alfresco dining and lingering over drinks in the fresh sea air. Slip into the hot tub as dusk falls and savour an unhurried soak while you chat through plans for tomorrow.

When you are ready to explore, you're a hop, skip and a jump from the dog friendly Pakefield beach or you can head into nearby Lowestoft for traditional seaside fun and sandy beaches, or plan family days out at Pleasurewood Hills and the Heritage Quay and Transport Museum. Discover Somerleyton House for a grand day of history and gardens, or venture to RSPB Minsmere and the Norfolk Broads for wildlife watching and time on the water.

Africa Alive - NR33 7TF
about 2 Miles
Africa Alive is one of Suffolk's largest attractions and one of the most popular in the whole of the UK.  The Africa themed park is very unique and gives visitors the chance to see some amazing creatures in a habitat which is as close to nature as possible. The park can be explored by car and on foot and Hyenas and Giraffes are just some of the animals you will encounter as you make your way around the park. Watch out for the lightning fast Cheetahs and keep your eyes peeled to spot the more reclusive creatures. During a day at Africa Alive there will be plenty of shows and educational talks taking place and if the weather turns then the indoor Adventure Play Ground comes in very handy. The site also has a well stocked Gift Shop and a Discovery Centre.
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park - NR32 4TZ
about 3 Miles
Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park is an amazing 50 acres area of stunning coastal parkland and is packed with family friendly rides and attractions. This park is an excellent choice for families with children of varied ages as there are a number of small rides for the little ones as well as some adrenaline boosting white knuckle rides for teenagers. As well as rides the site hosts some fantastic shows including the ever popular Sea Lion and Parrot encounters. At Halloween, Christmas and Easter other themed shows can also be enjoyed.  The site also has a good range of places to eat and drink whether you are looking to spend a leisurely hour relaxing with a meal or just grab a quick snack.
Bewilderwood - NR12 8JW
about 21 Miles
Bewilderwood is a fun day out for the whole family located in the Wroxham area of Norfolk.  This imaginative adventure park has won awards and we think kids especially will love the characters and the magical tree houses. You can even book your ticket online and beat the queues by visiting their website where you can also view video clips of the park. This place is also the setting for the book 'A Boggle at BeWILDerwood', by local children's author Tom Blofeld.  Parents are not left out either as you're encouraged to take part and play alongside your children.
Banham Zoo - NR16 2HE
about 29 Miles
This award winning wildlife attraction has much to offer both families and couples looking for a fun and educational day out.  You can discover a whole wild world of animals with over 1000 different animals from around the world. You will probably want to try and spend the whole day here so you don's miss out on anything.  Highlights include the amazing animals presentation, the birds of prey display and the feeding talks, all of which take place at set times of the day.  This attraction is fantastic value for money and highly recommended.  Their latest event is the Snow Leopard Club Naming Auction and there has recently been a baby giraffe born at the zoo.
