2-Bedroom Cottage with Hot Tub in Woodbridge

Perfect for couples and small families uncovering the beauty of Suffolk’s coast and countryside, this single-storey log cabin is located on a 130-acre site, formally an 18 hole golf course being reclaimed by nature through a variety of significant ecological regeneration and restoration projects and returning elements to its farming roots. Before you head off to explore, make sure to try all the experiences on offer at this splendid estate; walk through the woodlands, meadows and waterways, and make full use of the on-site holistic treatments, stargazing sessions and nature photography walks.

Your closest village is Cretingham, which boasts a popular local pub, while the charming towns of Framlingham and Woodbridge are also within 10 miles of the lodge. Uncover the local history with visits to Framlingham Castle and the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo (both within 11.5 miles).

You’ll also find it easy to reach Suffolk’s golden coastline, where must-visit destinations include Aldeburgh, the seaside village of Thorpeness, and Sizewell (all within 20 miles). Before stepping into this wonderful cabin, take a second to admire its rustic wood-clad design and the surrounding greenery that sets the scene for a nature-immersed stay.

Head inside to find light-filled accommodation that blends rural charm with modern comforts. The open-plan living space forms the social heart of the lodge, combining a smart kitchen/diner with a nature-meets-chic lounge perfect for relaxation.

Head for the lounge after busy days of adventure; throw open the garden doors, sink into the leather sofa, and find your favourite shows on the Smart TV. When stomachs rumble, the well-appointed kitchen boasts everything needed for cooking up Suffolk feasts, which can be enjoyed at the dining table inside or alfresco out in the garden.

At the end of each day away, choose from two restful bedrooms: a master king-size with its own en-suite shower room, plus a cosy twin bedroom which makes use of the family bathroom. Spill outside as often as possible to enjoy the private garden.
