Wow, what a fantastic stay! The lodge truly impressed us all, with its stunning decor and everything we needed. No matter the weather, there was plenty to keep everyone entertained-from the snooker and table tennis to relaxing in the hot tub. The space was generousand the furnishings plus kitchen essentials were spot on. My middle grandson kept saying, “Grandma, you've found a gem here!” Honestly, probably our best holiday spot yet.

Honestly, The Lodge really impressed us! We've stayed in loads of places over the years, but this one stood out. The house was spotless and well furnished, which isn't always the case with dog-friendly places. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. The maze of pathways are quite enchanting and the site has recently been used as a location for the BBC1 production of Merlin. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle. A Hocus Pokus Halloween event takes place from the 24th to the 31st of October.
