We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The peaceful surroundings are perfect for relaxingand the hot tub was a lovely bonus. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had plenty of space to cook. The twin room was suitable for our kids, but probably a bit tight for two adults. Not much for children to do inside, just swings and no toys, so keep that in mind if your kids need more entertainment. Overall, a great place for a quiet getaway!

Honestly, this was such a lovely getaway! The lodge felt just like home, super cosy and welcoming. Shelly and Clive were so helpful and friendly, which made everything even better. The location was spot on, with loads of attractions and eateries right on the doorstep. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and natural pool after exploring the woodland trails-so peaceful. Plus, having Flintstone and Boots around was a real treat. We're already planning to come back and definitely recommend it to others!

Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. The maze of pathways are quite enchanting and the site has recently been used as a location for the BBC1 production of Merlin. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle. A Hocus Pokus Halloween event takes place from the 24th to the 31st of October.
