Bring your bike for cycling and touring the many farm tracks and sample the food and drink to be had in the traditional old pubs.

The spa town of Buxton is within 10 miles and offers independent shops, cafes, museums, galleries, and the famous opera house which hosts events throughout the year. Chatsworth House and Gardens, and Alton Towers for the young at heart are both within 16 miles.
