Stackyard Reviews

Beautiful,Clean,Comfortable accommadation, super host,We hope to be back soon.
It was a nice place only let down by attention to detail with the cleanliness as the sofa was had bits of food and jigsaw pieces and dog hairs in between the cushions and not enough washing and drying facilities for 6 people plus not a very generous welcome pack for what you pay and nothing at all treat wise for the dogs also patio furniture and cushions not clean. ..nice place but lacking tlc
Everything was even better than we hoped and I would highly recommend the property. The photos depict the house very accurately, which is not always the case. The facilities are great and everything we needed, and more, was provided. The location is peaceful and the views are incredible. It rained heavily on one day during our stay but we were happy to stay 'at home' because it was such a lovely place to be. Chris is an exceptional host, very quick to respond and the experiences of his guests are his main priority. He was really friendly and made sure we were happy, which we definately were.
We have just got back from a fantastic New Years break at this property! The host was exceptional, he was in touch prior to arrival, and also met us when we arrived and unpacked. He was very responsive to a couple of slight queries we had throughout our stay. The house is top quality, and was very clean on arrival, exactly as shows in the photos. The kitchen was very well equipped, the hot tub was great and the outdoor space was perfect for our two dogs. The bedrooms and en suites were very comfortable. It is a great location and we enjoyed multiple days out all within half an hour drive. The village has a few lovely walks with great pubs. We would absolutely recommend this property, and will be looking to stay again, maybe in the summer months when we can make better use of the outdoor space!
Very comfortable property modern, clean and comfortable. Met on arrival by Chris helpful and practical. Excellent garden and hot tub. Quiet location and overall an excellent facility.
This is a wonderful property great size for family without being on top of each other. The outdoor space was ideal and the gated areas perfect for the dog. Very peaceful location with plenty of walks around and nearby. Definitely come again and next time well bring friends!
Our bedroom, last one on upstairs corridor, had insufficient storage for a weeks holiday for two. Otherwise great. Super outlook. Fridge was frozen solid on arrival and took many days to defrost. Otherwise, GREAT! Outdoor space super. Owners friendly and present. Great walks for dog and Ladies in party enjoyed easy access to Newcastle and Durham shopping.
The pictures of the property really do not give it the justice it deserves. We went as a family group and found everything perfect from the three evenly sized bedrooms all with ensuites to the level of space. The setting is fantastic really easy to locate and very near to the road network but once heading up the driveway your in country paradise with stunning views from the property and garden. The house had everything we needed and was really well thought out.
Lovely stay comfortable lounge, kitchen had all equipment needed, garden safely enclosed for dog. Hot tub great. Walked to village for pub meal which we enjoyed. Visited Durham & Beamish both close by. We would return 6 adults
