It was a lovely little love shack! Hot tub was fantastic after the day! Owners were there on time to greet us and everything was spot on with amenities. The view was wonderful

I have come back from my stay at the Heather Hut. I spent 4 nights here and have come home feeling relaxed and refreshed. The owners Lisa and Phil are super accommodating. I didn't meet Lisa in person, but I bumped into Phil a few times and each time he kept checking everything was fine and we had a good chat. The hut is small, but that makes it super cosy and easy to keep warm. The hot tub is wonderful this time of year, although be careful to not overheat it as we did. But little top up of cold water sorted it out. I imagine the views and scenery in the summer would be to die for!

Beautiful, magical and peaceful. I had a wonderful stay in Heather Hut with my dog over Christmas. The hosts were so very helpful but not intrusive and always available if you needed anything. They even preheated the hot tub. A welcome drink of prosecco and chocolates and the hut decorated for Christmas! Such a well appointed hut which has everything you could need. All appliances were top quality. Location was beautiful over looking Earby and beyond. Just perfect. We will be back!

Me and my partner stayed at heather hut for the weekend. Everything was perfect, complimentary drinks were a very nice touch. And to have the hot tub prelit for 10 was brilliant value will definitely be staying again

We are definitely going to be booking again. Phil and Lisa the owners went above and beyond and were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The cabin and the facilities were 1010 and there are lovely walks and close villagestown nearby to visit.

Phenomenal little place,hidden away,nice view and the welcome that the hosts delivered was amazing even down to the small things like treats for the dog upon arrival in the home. Very nicely kept, you can clearly see this is there there home just as much as your holiday and everything was perfect essentially

We have stayed in a few Sheppards hut type properties in the past and this one surpasses all the others. The hot tub on dark nights at the end of October made the evenings so relaxing and enjoyable. The owners were so friendly and helpful in all conversations and the little touches like the wine,dog treats and pumpkin decoration much appreciated. The views from the hut was stunning and I would recommend the Skipton to Carlisle rail route for more relaxing scenery views for those not up to climbing hills and fells. All in all fantastic value for money for a short term relaxing break away.

I had a fabulous stay at Heather Hut, it was so peaceful, just to sit in silence, watching nature. Hot tub is a delightful addition. Its a charming little space, but well equipped with space to prepare a meal. Comfy bed, nice shower room, great quality towels and robes.

Stunning location and a very well equipped shepherds hut. The hot tub was amazing and the views over the valley were incredible. Very highly recommended and we are already looking to rebook next year. Thank you.

Wow! Had a fantastic two nights at Heather Hut. A really well presented hut with everything you could think of. We stayed in the middle of December and we were perfectly comfortable despite the cold temperatures. The hot tub is brilliant and enjoyed heating it ourselves with the log burner, made even better with such a great view of the landscape. Owners are great and ensured everything perfect during our stay. Highly recommend for a getaway.

This was the most beautiful tranquil place I have ever been to. Lisa the owner was such a lovely down to earth person. Every thing you needed was provided they thought of every thing. Everything was immaculate and clean. It was my birthday and they added a personal touch with card and a small gift which I found really sweet. Nothing was to much always there to help if needed. I slept like a log really comfy bed and clean and warm bedding. Stunning views. I will recommend this beautiful place to anyone and we will be definitely be coming back.

Cute and quirky. Lovely property, was greeted by very friendly hosts. Lots of thoughtful little touches provided. Really comfy bed and bedding. Everything that was needed was there. In a good location for exploring local area. Only downsides were a slippery floor in the shower and at 5ft 2 I could only see my eyebrows and above in the bathroom mirror!! Would love to return in the future.

Lisa was very welcoming when we arrived. Showed us around, they have thought of everything. The hut was very comfortable and cosy. The hot tub was great and the views are amazing. We ate at The Black Lane End Tavern, after a lovely walk around Wycoller. The bottle of sparkling wine and the chocolate brownie were a lovely extra, I would definitely recommend coming here and we will be returning.

We stayed for the weekend at Heather Hut. It was such a lovely little hut, with an air fryer, hob, kettle and toaster. The bed was warm and cosy with lovely clean bedding, the bathroom was clean and had plenty of toilet roll and towels and the welcome drink and brownie was a lovely touch. The owners were so lovely really polite and always contactable! Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. It had stunning views and the hot tub was amazing. 100 would recommend!

Everything was perfect, the welcome hamper was lovely. Phil and Lisa was very welcoming and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and supported throughout our stay. The huts are beautiful and situated in a very beautiful part of the countryside with fantastic views of the countryside. Easy to forget the world outside, surprisingly quiet. Literally a little piece of heaven.

What a fantastic stay we had here! The property itself, the location and the excellent hosts made our little get away such a wonderful experience. The generous welcome pack, the well maintained facilities and tranquil surroundings made our stay nothing short of perfect! The hosts attention to detail making your stay special and their approachable nature made the whole experience from checking in to checking out very relaxed and enjoyable. They provided helpful information about the local area such as walks, activities and eateries worth a try they explained clearly how to use all of the facilities and made it clear that they were contactable if we needed anything during our stay but didnt hover and gave us privacy throughout the entire stay. The views from the property are breathtaking and being able to look upon them while in the hot tub, listening to music on a speaker provided by the host and enjoying a glass of wine also gifted by the hosts was such an enjoyable and wonderful experience. You are short of nothing in the Shepherds Hut, a comfy bed, robes and slippers, a warm shower with shampoo etc and all the cooking facilities needed with complimentary coffee etc. a heater near the hot tub if required and romantic lighting around the outdoor area for sitting around the fire pit. A beautiful property and experience all round. Thank you Lisa and Phil for your excellent hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Just had the most relaxing weekend at Heather Hut. The Hut itself was so cosy, clean and tidy and the little personal touches just made it. The hot tub and views were amazing, we had such a relaxing time and just switched off from everything which was well needed. Phil and Lisa were amazing hosts, they couldnt do enough for you and were so helpful when it came to getting us settled in. Will definitely be revisiting and will 100 recommend.

Had a fantastic long weekend at the hut. Lovely welcome pack and personal touches from the owners Lisa and Phil. The hut, hot tub and surroundings are beautiful and have everything you need. Would highly recommend this if you want a peaceful relaxing break with lots do nearby and walks straight from your door. We loved it and have booked to go back next year.

This is one perfect getaway, right from booking it. The contact between myself, Lisa and Phil was excellent they are both so helpful. We also arrived early i did let Phil know which wasnt a problem, we arrived and Phil took us round and showed us everything we needed to know was very much appreciated. Everything thing is just perfect! Even the hot tub was hot for when arrived. Couldnt recommend enough!

Perfect getaway with plenty of different activities to do in the area. Lisa and Phil are so helpful and our stay couldnt have been better.

When we first made contact to Phill the one of the owners we just needed some help on where we get the key for property and any other info that would useful to us. He told us where to collect the key and he also asked if we wanted the hot tub heated up already for when we arrived and what temperature. Im pregnant so I said Ill just dip my legs in for a few mins. They asked what drinks we would like on arrival we obviously went for soft drinks but they offer alcoholic drinks too. On the way down we gave them a call and told them we will be arriving late they were absoloutley fine with this. They heated the hot tub at a safe temperature for me as Im pregnant so it was luke warm but still enjoyable. When we arrived at Heather Hut the owners were there to greet us the showed me and my partner how to use everything. The bed folds away into a sofa and visa versa there are information cards explaining how to do this and a video. There was booklets about what to do in the area and local restaurants which deliver also. In the fridge we had fresh milk, water and butter provided in the freezer there was ice. Cleaning supplies provided. And shower supplies provided. The hot tub was lovley and relaxing and the views are amazing even from the hot tub. There are little heaters in barn where the hot tub is to keep warm they worked wonders. Overall we couldnt of picked a better place to stay for a few nights away. They did more than enough for us and theyre super friendly. There is loads to do in the local areas lots of shops. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a couples get away.

Phil's communications is great, it leaves you with no questions to ask. All the reviews talk about how attentive he is, wich is so true, but at the same time you are left alone in private. The huts are so cozy and warm even without burning logs, and so well thoughtout, that's down to Phil! Everything you need is at hand. I can vouch even late at night in the middle of December you can comfortably use the hot tubes and the hut they're in to relax. Our break was a total escape from everything, with relaxation and comfort.

This was a great find for a lovely weekend getaway before the madness of Christmas descends. The cabin was quaint and the bed was so comfortable we both slept 10hours each night. Its quiet, its clean, its private and I couldnt recommend this place more! The hot tub was an added bonus and great for just relaxing after a weekend of walks. Great place and the owners information pack told us everything we needed to know.

Celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary, it was perfect, lovely accommodation in the Shepshed Hut, very cosy, very comfortable bed and the hot tub was great, Phil was a great host couldn't do enough for us, would recommend a stay here for a great getaway, romantic break and great for fabulous walks, the scenery from the Hut is great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay , with a warm and friendly welcome from the hosts Accommodation is excellent , has everything you need, and greated with a lovely welcome pack. Hot tub ,separate area, Again everything has been thought of, lovely spending a few hours in this tranquil setting. Overall great experience, will definitely return.
