Kilmory Lodge

We really enjoyed our stay over the Easter weekend at this super lodge. Clean, comfortable and cosy.It has every thing you could possibly need. Great hosts and hope to return sometime soon.

A fantastic weekend was had at Kilmory Lodge, Mark and Julie was very welcoming and so helpful with recommendations on where to go locally, everything that you could think of that you needed was there to use in the accommodation, we'll certainly be going back!

The cottage was cosy, comfortable and very well equipped, the hot tub just gave it that added extra. It is in a lovely area with plenty places to go whatever you fancy, coast or country, all in easy reach. Sue

This is an outstanding place to stay and has all the small details plus more. It is without doubt the best Sykes accommodation we have stayed at. We couldn't have asked for more. The hot tub and wood burner are the icing on the cake. The host Mark is on hand when needed for advice and will provide details of places to visit and local attractions. 100 we would stay again.

We had a wonderful week in this very cosy lodge. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. There were lots of little touches that made our stay very easy e.g. common condiments in a cupboard and bath robes and flip flops for the hot tub. We would recommend this place to anyone looking to explore the area!

From the moment my wife and I saw this beautiful property we knew wed have an amazing time. Its the best kitted out home for staying a week like we did, its truly wonderful. The furniture and bed were fantastic, the hot tub is superb of course. I could literally write so much about this incredible property you shouldnt hang around thinking about it..do it stay here! Its the BEST!

Mark sent us a video prior to our arrival about check in and information about the lodge. Absolutely brilliant idea! The lodge was perfect. High end quality throughout. Hot tub robes and croc sliders are provided. Theres a dyson hairdryer in the huge dressing room. The super huge bed is so comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. The welcome pack is superb! The living room is perfect for snuggling up together watching sky cinema movies infront of the log burner. The hot tub is the icing on the cake. Secluded, private and perfect temperature. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Hosts are great and are at the end of the phone if you need them. Mark sent plenty of information via links about things to do, places to eat and bus routes. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Just back from a wonderful break. Firstly Mark the owner an absolute gent,very friendly ,welcoming and available should you need assistance with anything The lodge was immaculate, very private and as others have said they have thought of everything a real home from home. SKY TV available perfect for cosy nights in. Towels,robes even slippers for the amazing hot tub. We would definitely recommend this lodge. Lyn and Tommy

The perfect getaway location. Close to Blackpool ands its attractions but also quiet and secluded for a wind down weekend with hot tub. Fantastically well laid out with all of the added touches to make you feel welcome and at home. spotlessly clean and great value for money. Attention to detail from the hosts is second to none. including a really helpful video via what's app which made arrival and check in feel like i had done it all before. Perfect will definitely be back

The photos on the website dont do this place justice ! It is so spacious not to mention spotless and with everything you could possible need and more. Everything is so easy to use unlike some properties weve stayed in every little thing has been thought through. Loved the front and back seating area so could always find a sunny spot weather permitting . Loved the outside lights near the hot tub, so cosy and relaxing. The dressing room is an added bonus which we didnt know about. The owner Mark greeted us on arrival but prior to this hed sent a video showing the entrance to the property so you know what you are looking for on arrival which is a great help and also a walk through of the lodge which was helpful. The bed was so comfy and the hot tub at the perfect temperature . Usually when we go to these places and weve done a lot we always think of at least one thing that could be done better or something missing that we would have liked but not here, even down to the box of toiletries in the bathroom in case you forgot. We never used our car at all during our weekend because the bus service 5c its not 2c anymore is so reliable plus it stops practically outside . Sundays is cheaper 2 per person return to Knott End not much there but nice for a stroll and a drink in the pub. The food looked ok too although we didnt eat there. I definately will return and recommend to family and friends. Mark and Julie have certainly put a lot of thought and effort into making it what it is and should be proud of themselves . Just spent a week at Kilmory Lodge in Stalmine. Fabulous Place to stay. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and the bonus of a hot tub. Mark and Julie are excellent hosts, they know how to make guests welcome and all the added extras they provide are amazing. We highly recommend for a short or long stay,

Absolutely fabulous, Mark is so helpful, he provided us loads of information of things to do, places to eat, even bus time tables to add to the adventure. The lodge is high end and very comfortable and clean. The hot tub is very well looked after and very private. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family, and would love to return.

The lodge was such a beautiful homely place. It was very clean and immaculate, and had all necessities included. The hot tub was lovely and in a perfect location not overlooked. From turning the key to enter this amazing property to locking it to leave everything was perfect. This was our second visit and we enjoyed the lodge. It is clean well stocked and perfect to hop on a bus to Blackpool. We are already looking at dates to return.

Just returned from celebrating my birthday in the lodge with my partner and it was perfect. Spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, really close attention to detail and little extra touches which were greatly appreciated. The hot tub and outdoor space was lovely. Really helpful instructions and tips from the owners also made everything go really smoothly. Would highly recommend, and Im sure we will be returning thank you Mark and Julie

This is a lovely place ,great people that owe it . Got greeted when arriving and leaving . I couldn't find some egg cup, so had a word with the owner,and the very next day there thay were, out side the table.He had got 4 new egg cups. Nothing is a bother to them.So i all ways say,if you have a problem ,just ask the owner.We highly recommend this lovely cottage. But be aware there is some building going on. But didn't bother us one bit. Enjoy this place.

What an amazing lodge! Peaceful cosy and spotless. Everything was perfect and Mark was so helpful and went above and beyond providing local information. The lodge was 5 star plus, everthing was just perfect couldn't fault anything and Mark was brilliant, i can't say enough on how good and peacefull the weekend was and the hot was just awsome top marks all round.

The Lodge was beautiful. The owners had gone above and beyond to make sure we had everything for our stay. All the extras that were available if we needed them were lovely. Our stay was just what we needed, comfortable and relaxed, and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. We would definately recommend a stay at the Kilmory Lodge.

Sykes cottages are always good but Kilmory Lodge excelled. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added to the already elegant presentation. Mark went beyond being a good host and made me, as a lone person, feel very safe. I cannot thank him and Julie enough

What a wonderful stay we had. The lodge was warm and welcoming and exceptionally clean. We were greeted by Mark the owner who was helpful and informative. The little extras left for us were plentiful and very welcome. Everything you could need was supplied. The hot tub was amazing and very private. We would 100 recommend and will most certainly be booking again.

The property is one of the best we have stayed in and there has been a few. You could not wish or need for anything everything is provided. From turning into the drive and driving off one week later I can fault nothing.

A lovely few days in Kilmory Lodge. We stayed from 2327 September 2024. We can honestly say that we couldn't find anything missing from the lodge at all. Down to little things like a sewing kit, cotton buds, a little milk to make a coffee on arrival. It was a lovely cottage and a lovely relaxing few days away. The hot tub was the icing on the cake!

Kilmory is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway! The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet and the lodge is just amazing! Mark and Julie have thought of everything. There are so many little extras that if you forget anything Mark and Julie have already provided it. The hot tub was lovely at the end of a day exploring the surrounding areas. The property was immaculate when we arrived and we would definitely stay again hopefully for longer!

We had a fantastic five nights, the accommodation was lovely, had a very homely feel and were made to feel very welcome. The cottage was clean and well furnished with the hot tub a superb feature. The place was very comfortable and relaxing, could not recommend it enough. Ideal for a relaxing break in a good location for anyone who wants to get out and about.

The Lodge was amazing, clean, comfortable and had everything you could want from kitchen utensils, spare toiletries if required, Sky tv and hot tub. It was great to come back at the end of a busy day out walking or visiting local attractions. There was lots of information in the Lodge about places to visit and eat. Mark was also available to provide any extra details. We had a lovely week, thank you.
