The perfect walking, cycling and touring base, the national park, coast and country are all within reach; you can find world-class mountain biking routes from the doorstep in Dalby Forest and the surrounding moorland and forest trails for the cyclists, and Bridestones, Hole of Horcum and Blakey Topping for the walkers in your group. Alternatively, take advantage of the beautiful surroundings and relax by the stream where you may see the occasional kingfisher, or even woodpeckers, cuckoos and turtle doves in the spring and summer, watch birds of prey from the forest escarpment, or wander up the lane to the moors.
