Spotless, lovely cabin, glorious location. Warm, well equipped, and comfortable. Lovely, attentive, but non intrusive owners. Hot tub checked daily, ideal for us as heavy users . Brilliant views, lovely quiet spot with plenty to watch on the loch with huge picture windows.

A lovely lodge in a beautiful location. Peace and quiet, ever changing views of the loch and countryside from the lodge, patio, and hot tub. We were lucky to have hot and sunny weather. We had a lovely meal at Nikos in Castle Douglas, and enjoyed picnics on the beaches around. Threave gardens are well worth a visit. Fiona and Robin are very friendl y and helpful hosts.

A beautiful lodge on the banks of the loch, a stunning location and the aspect is sublime with the sunset over the hills. Many brown trout were fished on the loch and there are many walks with much nature on the doorstep. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will certainly visit again. Willow Cottage was fantastic. The personal touches really made it feel like warm and welcome. A great touch was the fresh farm milk, farm eggs, youghurts and home made granola. The view over the loch was superb, wonderful to be surrounded by fantastic countryside and farm animals. Our hosts were very helpful, daily looking after the hot tub for us to ensure it was clean. Beds were super comfy, cottage very well equipped, A wonderful place to rest and rejuvenate.

Great weeks holiday in Willow Lodge at Bengairn for 3 generations of family and wee dog. Wonderful location overlooking the lochan and surrounded by fields of cattle and sheep. Very comfortable, fully equipped lodge with fabulous terrace for sitting out enjoying the lovely views and sunsets. We made full use of the hot tub, gas BBQ and chimenea. Willow Lodge is a wonderful property in a beautiful location. It has everything you could want for a really enjoyable.holiday. The lodge is so comfortable , clean and very tastefully furnished. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck by the the chiminea or relaxing in the hot tub. Fiona and Robin are exceptional hosts, so welcoming and friendly. Ther e are lots of interesting places to visit in the area, including some lovely beaches nearby. We hope to return soon. Very highly recommended.

So much care and attention makes This the perfect stay to relax, touch base with nature, appreciate the dark skies and recharge both physically and mentally. Fresh flowers on arrival, welcome pack full of locally sourced goodies including organic milk straight from the local farm. Mabie Farm Park is a firm favourite. Ideal for families with younger children ,this family oriented farm park has lots of animals to meet and also offers Donkey Rides, Paddle Boats and Slides as well as Trampolines and Bouncy Castles. Kids can run around on the Soft Play Area while mum and dad relax in the Tea Room. There is also a Farm Shop onsite selling toys, gifts and fresh local produce including cakes and jams. Seasonal activities can also be enjoyed including a spookly tea and walk on Haloween. The Farm closes for the winter on October 31st.
