Willow Pod Reviews

Rowenna
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at willow pod. The complimentary gin, jam and Prosecco were a lovely surprise when we arrived. The pod is in a lovely location and is clean and homely. Would definitely stay again
My stay at Willow Pod was perfect and just what I needed to 'switch off' from the challenges caring for my dad, a dementia sufferer, involve. Pauline and Paul were friendly, gracious hosts. The setting is beautiful and so peaceful. And my lovely dog, Peggy, and I really appreciated the cosiness of having everything to hand in a compact living space. The big plus was the hot tub! It is set in a secluded area so plenty of privacy. I will definitely go back!
The Willow Pod was amazing! ! Really well presented with everything you need. Lovely peaceful & pretty surroundings & really super hosts who were only too happy to help if you needed anything. Surrounding area is very beautiful with lots of easy local walks. Highly recommend for a relaxing & restful stay.
We had a lovely stay in this fabulous pod. Very comfortable and cosy. The owners were very responsive and helpful. The hot tub was particularly good! Highly recommend a stay in Willow Pod.
Pauline & Paul are great hosts, with good communications from the start. The pod is perfect and lovely for a short break, it was also stocked with treats by the owners for us to enjoy. The shower was hot and bathroom facilities worked well. The pod was spotless on arrival, and key entry system worked well, we were left undisturbed throughout our stay but any queries quickly answered. Both Chichester and Arundel are easily accessible and well worth a visit, as is the Black Rabbit at Arundel for lunch or dinner.
Lovely property with lovely host. Would highly recommend

Although comfortable and well appointed and set in its own complex, the only problem was our age in climbing in and out of the bed enclosed in its niche, other than that we found it perfect and really good value.
I had a wonderful break in very clean, high standard, comfortable accomodation. Wonderful welcome, beautiful surroundings. Hosts were very friendly without intruding offering local information and answering any queries very quickly. Can wholly recommend for a relaxing, comfortable break.
A fantastic gem of a place. Has everything you need. Spotlessly clean. Absolutely loved our stay here.
Caroline

My dog and I had a lovely stay at Willow Pod it was cosy, clean and very well set up with everything we needed. Shower water pressure was impressively strong, and the thoughtful welcome pack was appreciated especially the blackberry jam. I would definitely recommend a stay at Willow Pod to those wanting a quiet break with great walks and some beach time. My dog enjoyed watching the rabbits and horses.

The Willow Pod is a great space to relax and chill. Its a perfect size for a couple with a dog, with plenty of places to walk around the site. The pod itself is comfortable, had everything we needed for a four night stay and our dog particularly loved meeting the horses on site. The owners left lots of information for our stay there and checked we had everything we needed. A great place, would happily return.
This is my second stay at Willow Pod at The Old Dairy Farm. It's accessible for both drivers and nondrivers too. Everything about it tells you that it's run by people who genuinely care. In my 3 night stay I walked through the fields with my dog and got the bus to Chichester the next day. I enjoyed time spent at the well kept pod too, admiring the craftsmanship and appreciating all of the well thought through set up plus the homemade gifts!, my dog loves to lay and watch the wildlife. It's a beautiful place I really felt like it hit the reset button.

Enjoyed every second of it. Nice quiet place and got the opportunity to just relax and be at peace.
Such a beautiful pod and the owner could not be more helpful. We will definitely book to stay again and let friends and family know about it too. The home made gin and vodka were welcome additions!
We needed a few days away but not too far from home so opted for Willow Pod as it looked just the ticket. We were certainly not disappointed the pod itself is awesome and feels much bigger than it is because the layout is really good. It was incredibly comfortable and had everything you could need including kitchen and full shower bathroom. Nothing felt crammed in and both the bed and sofa were really comfortable. There is a deck area for ifwhen its sunny and a small enclosed garden for the dog. The owners were really friendly and accommodating and the location is great for beaches 10 minutes away and the sites in the area. Overall it is the most relaxing place and ideal for a couple with a dog. I could not recommend enough.
We had a wonderful stay in Willow Pod. Pauline and Paul could not have been better hosts inconspicuous, but friendly and helpful when needed. The pod itself is finished to a really high standard, well equipped and amazingly spacious inside! A peaceful, relaxing break away with our little dog. We will come again

If we were setting up our own personal retreat this would be it. The hosts managed to strike the right balance between being friendly and not intrusive, we will definitely be recommending it to our friends and reusing it ourselves as its only a short drive to Goodwood. Thank you Paul and Pauline.
We really enjoyed our stay in Willow Pod. It was lovely to be welcomed by the homemade treats as well as the other goodies! Willow Pod is set in a perfect location for a short break with Arundel and Littlehampton being so near. Our dog Rolo was very protective of his new home and loved his new surroundings. Willow Pod is very comfortable and is very well equipped. Paul and Pauline are perfect hosts.
Pauline and Paul were lovely owners Willow Pod was perfect for a chilled out time and in a great location

Loved every minute of our stay at Willow Pod. Pauline and Paul are great hosts and very thoughtful. Friendly and responded in a timely manner. Everything was as described. The pod was clean and the design interior of the pod demonstrated the thoughtfulness and their vision wanting their guests to enjoy their stays and appreciate every little thing that would bring comfort and convenience. I also appreciated the amenities. It made the stay truly special. Great location, walking distance to shops and activities local attractions to keep you going. Our dog also enjoyed his stay and enjoyed his walks in the beautiful surroundings. If you are a dog owner, worth bringing a long training leash so that your dog can roam in safety.
Definitely going to stay there again had a great time X
Lovely Place, Lovely owners a comfortable bijou home from home. We had a quiet peaceful and relaxing few days.Perfectly positioned to explore the area.
What can I say, I took a chance and it was everything and more. Stunning setting, lovely comfortable modern Pod. The owners live adjacent to the holiday Pods and would have been at hand if needed. If you enjoy wildlife, its all there to see and two beautiful horses reside next to the complex we stayed in. We loved our time there and will be back with friends and family.
Willow Pod is just perfect, we loved everything about it, warm, cosy, location. ..it has everything you need, and the owners Pauline and Paul are so kind and helpful, and the added bonus of watching Mo in the menage. The surrounding area is beautiful and we'll defifnitely be back, Thank you. Jenny and Peter Osborne
Willow Pod is well equipped and very comfy for our weekend away. Will be booking again in 2024, for both Goodwood Members Meeting and Revival. Many thanks to Pauline and Paul our very friendly and helpful hosts. Thoroughly recommend.
Steven
Lovely pod, well situated. Well fitted out and the supplies provided were lovely, thank you. Only thing to improve would be hot water temperature.
Abigail
The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We had a lovely restful stay and will definitely be going back. Aby, Alex and Bruce dog
Very well equipped. Cosy and welcoming. Enjoyed the Prosecco, gin, jam and milk. Dont take too much stuff with you as you will be living out of a case as only a place to hang a few things.
We had a lovely four nights in Willow Pod. Everything we needed was there and it was clean and tidy. Pauline reacted pretty much instantly and rectified a small issue with the WiFi. A great place to stay to explore that part of Sussex.
Christopher
Had a great stay at this location. Very quiet surroundings. The hosts were very friendly and nothing was any trouble. Would highly recommend.
Philippe
We would highly recommend booking, the accommodation was lovely and Pauline was fantastic. If you love both the downs and beach, you won't be disappointed as both are only 15 minutes away by car. The complementary home made jam and gin is just something to die for and the bottle of prosecco was a lovely touch after a long drive down from Liverpool. A fantastic break and would definitely come again Philippe and Anne
Joanna
We had a lovely stay at Willow pod, Pauline and Paul couldnt have been more welcoming. The pod was immaculate, everything down to the tiny details were thought of, even had home made Gin and Jam, which was delicious. Would highly recommend and would 100 return. Jo and Shelley from Sidcup

We had an excellent relaxing weekend at Willow Pod. The pod had everything we needed, and was very cosy and comfortable. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming, there if we needed, but also let us get on with enjoying the peacefulness of the area. The location is excellent, we were there with our little dog, and there are plenty of walking opportunities, including the large village green just a few minutes walk away. The only thing for dog owners to note is the need to keep dogs on lead around the pod as the enclosure isn't completely dog proof. That said it all remains within very quiet and safe surroundings.
We had a great time, we came back feeling extremely relaxed. The surroundings were lovely and we loved watching the horses in the field. The pods were really comfortable, well equipped and really clean, with TV and wifi. The complimentary taster homemade blackberry gin and blackberry jam, and bottle of prosecco was a great touch. Great base for South Coast. Nearest beach was a 510min drive. Our dog was very happy too, dog blankets, dog bowl provided. The hosts were lovely, very welcoming but not overbearing. There are only 3 pods on the site so not loads of holiday makers, and each pod is staggered so you are not overlooked by others. One pod has a hot tub which I think we might have to come back and try! We would definitely recommend.
A lovely, relaxing break in the end. Many thanks to Pauline and Paul. The pod was luxurious as well as cosy and everything was efficient. I felt that I could be quiet and potter, which is exactly what I wanted for my mini break. Thanks too for the flexibility around my guests. For the public review My stay in Willow pod was really enjoyable. It feels high end and was wellfurnished and equipped. The shower is great and the bed was comfortable. It had a private little garden too. The pods are perfect for brief, restful stays and exploring the area. I particularly appreciated the welcome gifts and that there was milk in the fridge! I hope to be back in a different season.
Richard
The pod was compact and wellfitted, as we expected from the listing, but we really only appreciated the setting once we settled in. We were in a green oasis, with horses grazing in the paddock during the day, and foxes and rabbits running around. The owners were friendly and helpful, happy to chat but not intrusive. After the one days work in Winchester that had been the reason for the trip, we explored local beaches and dogfriendly pubs. All in all, a very relaxing week. Our dog is still dreaming about chasing rabbits.
