Waters Edge

Waters Edge is a charming property perched on the edge of a stream, within the village of Gardens, a purpose built, privately owned group of properties close to the beach at Maenporth in Falmouth. Boasting excellent onsite facilities, including tennis courts, children’s play area and an indoor plunge pool, this is a great choice for families.

The open plan living area is a bright and airy space to socialise, either on the sumptuous sofa or at the dining table over a delightful home-cooked meal. The kitchen comes well-equipped with all you could require during a short stay, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and even a dishwasher and washing machine, so you won’t have to lift a finger when washing up!

As you tire, head to the bedrooms to catch your rest, offering a double and two twins, each neutrally furnished and completed with plenty of storage. The bathroom is where you can prepare for the day, stepping into the bath and shower over enclosure for a refreshing rinse, or you can also enjoy a relaxing soak following a day of walking.

To the outside is a decked area with furniture, perfect for some alfresco dining on a balmy evening, along with allocated parking for one car. As with all of the cottages, you are just a short walk from the Splash Pool and Gym.

The Village of Gardens is equidistant between Maenporth and Swanpool beaches. Everyone loves Swanpool for the cafe, sand and swimming while Maenporth is perhaps a little more relaxed but equally as special; both offer fantastic restaurants and sandy shores so you really are spoilt for choice.

North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns. Falmouth itself is home to the National Maritime Museum, visitors will enjoy an amble through the narrow streets and possibly a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.
