Bay View Reviews

Bay view was amazing and spacious property for 4 adults and 2 grown children plus one large dog. It had recently been refurbished and looks beautiful with views across to the sea. The beds were comfortable and we all slept well. We also enjoyed how this property was situated as it was very private, especially when using the got tub. None of us wanted to leave. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.
We've just got back from a week at bay View, We all had an amazing time away! Jenna & Jamie are fabulous owners! any issues we had were sorted and solved in a very short time! Children were upset the pool wasn't open the entire week! which was a slight let down, but with 2 children with broken bones it wasn't a big loss. absolutely has nothing to do with Jenna & Jamie! Beautiful area, great bike tracksuit, lovely walks, great food and family time! Thank you again for letting us stay we will be back again very soon. X

We had a lovely stay at bay view, it was nice and clean when we arrived and had a gorgeous view. Loved the log burner, they had some games and dvds to use which was a nice touch. Decor was lovely bed comfy lots of pillows blinds & curtains really good. Jacuzzi was fab and lovely view along with it a little cover over decking could be an added bonus for when it's raining and want to still be outside to enjoy the views. A few things we want to mention we couldn't control the temperature other than turning off the radiators in the bathroom so the house was really warm so we had to have windows and doors open, especially when cooking. Fire poker set would be helpful to be able to move logs and put them in without burning yourself. Outdoor lights didn't work initially but after contacting the owners they sent someone round who fixed them which was great. It would have been helpful to have a map in the booklet to know where bins gym spa is as we had to walk around the block to find it ourselves and there arent any signs either on site site flaw not the owners fault. Shower in spare bathroom not very hot compared to en suite shower room. Our biggest flaw would be the parking spots you only get one per house and with 6 guests who might have 3 cars this isnt ideal. We were lucky the neighbours werent staying when we were so could use their space we had 2 cars. Otherwise we had a lovely stay, would highly recommend to others and if the little issues mentioned above were added I think would make this place amazing!

We had a lovely stay in Cornwall. Accommodation very comfortable. Great hot tub. Well equipped kitchen knives need sharpening! Loads of hot water, great showers. Could do with some extra lights in the path down to the lodge. We needed instructions for heating air conditioning. We had to replace the batteries in the control units. Also there was no information about the site or facilities not even a site map. Enjoyed the pool and the golf course. Will certainly be back.

Great accommodation clean tidy and lovely setting. Added bonus to be able to see the sea on a clear day. Great location ideal for visiting surrounding areas. Portreath a great little location and both the Portreath Arms & Basset Arms are worth a visit. Would we return in a heartbeat and already considering booking for next year
The initial cleanliness seemed fine until closer inspection. Lots of crisp crumbs in the rug, lots and lots of cobwebs which must have been there for months, hair and fluff in the wardrobes and underneath toilet seat in ensuite had been missed. Lots of things to mention. The bedside light switch kept cracking and the spots would work intermittently so obviously a problem. Its ready for a deep clean and a bit of a revamp especially as it cost over 3000. We did message the owners on the numbers provided but no response. No bbq equipment and a three legged clothes dryer!
Michael
Our general first impression on arrival was a little disappointing as the approach to the lodge was a little overgrown and hedges needed trimming and the decking area was not clean cobwebs and bird droppings etc which gave a feeling of slight neglect. However the accommodation was very comfortable with high class hot tub and the kitchen was fully equipped. Biggest disappointment was the nine hole golf course which was a far cry from the pictures you see on the web site. I suggest that the resort remove this facility from their website as it is obviously not maintained and is a negative aspect of the experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Bayview in Gwel an Mor. The lodge was absolutely perfect for a relaxing break for my husband, myself, and our dog. It felt private and peaceful, with everything we needed. The location is ideal, quiet enough to feel like a proper escape, but close to the beach and lovely walks, which our dog loved. The lodge itself was modern, and very comfortable. We couldnt have asked for a better base for our Cornish getaway, and were already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay at the lodge and found it to be a very comfortable property and was nice and clean. It is a fab place particularly for young children and our granddaughter loved visiting the soft play and farm. It is also a great place for families with dogs as there were some lovely walks directly from the lodge which was really great and good not to have to keep getting into the car! We also loved the hot tub! Thank you for a lovely stay!
Wonderful location, quiet and tucked away with a stunning view. Bayview is well equipped and beautifully furnished. The outdoor area and hot tub made our stay even more enjoyable. Will definitely rebook.

Our stay at Bay View was perfect. So well equipped and comfortable. A couple of small cleaning issues, mostly in the bathrooms, but easily sorted. Bed so comfortable. The amazing hot tub was very well used by us,gazing at the stars and super moon, what more can you ask for!, We are moving to Cornwall hopefully in the next two months but would certainly recommend staying here at Bay View as the whole complex is so well maintained. Thankyou for making our stay so perfect
