Great little house. Everything you need for a lovley break. We loved the hottub and appreciated the fully set up kitchen. Nice welcome from owner but then a totally private week easy parking. Located perfectly for Western Cornwall exploring we will return

We loved our stay here the perfect place to take our two dogs, quiet, peaceful, clean and well maintained everything looked brand new, the garden is totally secure and was perfect for our two German shepherds. After being out walking all day it was lovely to get back and relax in the hot tub. Highly recommend

Carn Brea is a beautiful little place, two adults and two fairly big dogs stayed comfortably. The place was spotless, with a quick guided tour when we arrived from a very personable owner to explain heating, domestics and the hot tub controls was thorough and ensured we were happy with all the necessary information. he was also available all the time for any snags that arose none did for us. We cannot praise the standard of accommodation or the service from the owners highly enough. We recommend this accommodation highly to all.
Kirsty
Lovely clean, tidy and comfortable accommodation with a relaxing hot tub rain or shine. Dale and Mel are great hosts, we'll be back again.
Robert
Fantastic little gem of a property, ideally located in a quite peaceful setting. The owner was very friendly and helpful, although we didnt need anything during our stay, as everything had been thought about. The hot tub was a bonus and to be greeted with some local scones and cider was a nice welcoming touch. We will definitely book again when we return.
Lovely Annex and hosts. Thank you for the cornwall gifts too. We had everything we needed and nice to relax in hot tub after a days exploring Cornwall. This was also a great base for the places we wanted to go to. We will be back
A very clean and comfortable cottage. Dale made us very welcome and was on hand during our stay if we needed him. The place was easy to find from the A30. Perranporth was not far away neither was St Ives. A very pleasant stay .

Great find, tucked away position but plenty if local amenities in Illogan and just 2 miles into Redruth for Tesco etc. Portreath just down the road. Spotless including the fridge and oven, the towels smelt amazing, and some lovely goodies on arrival. Lovely private enclosed courtyard with bistro set and pretty string lights. We throughly enjoyed the hot tub, the weather was against us so was very grateful for the canopy. Can't recommend enough, will certainly return

Brilliant little Annex. Hot tub was amazing, Dale even came in and topped up chlorine to make sure it stayed clean for our extended stay. All the facilities youd need in a very quiet and cozy area. Little Coop round the corner too to top up with essentials. Definitely recommend.
A lovely accommodation, everything you need, we had a great week. We would definitely come back, thank you.
Excellent small rental ideal for couples and dog friendly too. Hosts extremely helpful. A lovely stay.

Carn brea was a fantastic little romantic place for us to stay! Perfectly situated , fairly centrally located, thus perfect base to go explore Cornwall from an its glorious beaches and coastal walks. We arrived slightly later than planned but this did not phase Dale at all. Dale waited patiently on the drive as it was dark and helped us find Carn brea. On arrival we received a warm greeting an Dale showed us around a got the opportunity to show us the Garden all light up an the fantastic hot tub. Carn brea is a wonderfully well presented annex. In a very quite secluded spot. It has all the amenities you could want very clean modern and well thought out ! The private garden is immaculately kept with bbq fire pit. Outside shower for before an after use off the hot tub and has hot a cold running water a nice touch. The hot tub which Dale took time to show us how it works. If you do a lot of walking either with the dogs like we did or with your partner. The hot tub is a perfect way to relax a soothe any aching muscles, either with a glass of wine or bubbles, trust me they will ache as theres some tidy ascents a descents on the coastal walks. Id thoroughly recommend staying here ! Carn brea felt like a home away from home to us. Well done Dale and Mel youve done a fantastic job ! Amanda myself and the boys Bruno and Bertie, will definitely be back
Joanne
Lovely accommodation to be used as a base to travel to surrounding areas. Nothing to do in the immediate area, so the hot tub and nice outside space were welcome. Owners provided all essentials and even gifted some prosecco and a card for my birthday.
Elizabeth
We enjoyed our stay and found the place was very clean comfortable and well presented. The jacuzzi and garden was the icing on the cake and we would highly recommend the place. The photos advertising the property didn't do it justice.
Andrea

Everything was thought of, especially the lovely delights in the fridge! Hot tub was fantastic and the accommodation was extremely comfortable and clean. We will definitely be returning, the property was ideally situated for the stunning beaches, and we can highly recommend The Countryman Inn & The Pandora Inn at Mylor for views and food.

We stayed at Carn Brea for nearly a week, and from the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely perfect. We were warmly welcomed by the most wonderful hosts Dale and Mel whose hospitality truly made us feel like were at home.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Carn Brea. We couldn't fault the property which had everything you could possibly ask for. It was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The hot tub in the garden was just perfect for our getaway. Dale and Mel were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble, and they were always there when needed.

From the moment we arrived at Carn Brea we knew we had chosen the most perfect place to stay. From how beautiful the garden is to the most perfect indoors with everything we needed for a few days away. Dale and Mel have thought of everything when it comes to comfort and accessibility. With so many extra little touches to make the stay even more special. We were blessed with great weather but even on the 1 rainy day we made most of the hot tub and firepit. The bed was so comfy, no noise from surrounding area so every night was a great night sleep. Kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook from home. We had 2 dogs with us and they settled straight in. Normally anxious with new places but they felt straight at home too. Honestly we could write for hours on how special our stay was. We met our hosts on arrival and received a very warm welcome, gave us a good idea on the surrounding area and which placesbeaches might be best for the dogs etc. Nothing was too much to ask not that we needed to ask for much at all From Dave and Emily and the doggo's a big thank you to Dale and Mel and we will be back again.
