Emma
The cottage was really charming and tucked away in such a peaceful spot. Debbie and Simon were lovely hosts, super helpful and friendly. Perfect for our dog, just a short walk to Par beach. We’ll be back for sure!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay; the peaceful setting was perfect for a relaxing break. Having a secure, enclosed garden was such a relief, especially since one of our dogs is quite anxious. The garden was full of beautiful birds, thanks to the mature shrubs. The cottage itself was lovely and well-equippedand we loved lighting the wood burner in the evenings. Thanks a lot!
Emma
Really well-located, ideal for families. The kids loved the pool and the pool table, definitely recommend!
Emma

James
We booked Gillyflower for our honeymoon and honestly, it was perfect. The location is just remote enough to feel secluded but still close to everything we needed. The cottage was cosy, well-equippedand the hot tub plus log fire made it unforgettable. Loved it!
Emily
We loved staying here! The location is perfect for exploring Cornwall, with lovely walks into Fowey right on your doorstep. The on-site Silo Bar had a fantastic vibe and definitely worth a visit. The hot tub was a real bonus, we enjoyed it every night-though it’s a bit snug for four! We also appreciated the nearby pubs and the trip to Looe, Polperroand Charlestown, not to mention the ferry at Bodinnick. All in all, a really lovely stay, would happily come back!
Emma
We had a lovely stay at this dog-friendly place. The house had everything we needed for the weekand the log burner made it really cosy in the evenings. The hot tub was a real highlight, super well maintained. The location was convenient, just a short drive to Fowey and nearby villages. We were a bit let down that the bar was closed since we'd heard good things about it.
Emma
We had a lovely stay here and will definitely come back. The house is charming, with a well-stocked kitchen and a super comfy lounge. The two small bedrooms are perfect for a quiet retreat. The wet rooms in the bathrooms made it so easy to clean up after beach days, especially with our dog - Par Sands is a must! The log burner and hot tub added some real cosy vibesand having access to the pool and snooker table was a bonus. The location’s great, even if the roads are a bit narrow for driving around. Fowey and Par are just a short drive awayand Golant’s river is perfect for paddleboarding. We loved it!
Emma
We loved the calm vibe out near Fowey. The wifi worked welland the cottage was really comfortable with nice decor. Plenty of space for our family of fourand the fresh flowers on arrival were a lovely touch. We enjoyed the games room and library - perfect for the boys! Also, we got added to the guest list for the live music. Definitely recommend!
Emma
We found everything we needed and loved exploring the local area. Walking and cycling to the Fisherman's Arms was a highlightand we didn’t get around to using the pool or games room because we were so busy. There’s still so much to do here! We’ll definitely return, maybe bringing a paddle board next time instead of bikes. Overall, we’d happily recommend it - great spot for a getaway! Definitely more to discover next time.
Emma Turner
We had a lovely stay at this cosy cottage, which was really well kitted out. We made good use of the washing machine and dishwasher, although we did bring our own capsules - no big deal. The owners are nearby but not at all intrusiveand they happily gave us tips about local dog walks, which was great. We popped into Bar Silo on a Friday night; the bar was surprisingly well stocked and modern, with spotless toilets. The live band was pretty good too. Overall, a really enjoyable visit!
Emma
Really comfy place, owners have clearly put a lot of thought into making everything easy for guests.
Emma
We had a great stay at this lovely, spotlessly clean cottage in such a beautiful setting. The place is well equipped and feels really cosy. The only thing was, if there were 4 of us, an extra comfy chair in the lounge would’ve been handy - but the owners were really quick to sort one out when we mentioned it. The hot tub was fantastic and very clean, though it’s a bit small for four people. It would be lovely if it was full size so everyone could relax together. A welcome pack with milk, sconesand fizz would’ve been a nice touch, but overall we really enjoyed our time. Thanks!
Emma
Really enjoyed our stay, the location was perfect for exploring Cornwall’s good places.
Emma T.
The cottage is lovely and in a great spot, but watch out for the sat nav-ours tried to send us the wrong way! Parking signs can be confusing too. The pool's tiny, but the jet helps with swimming.
Emma
We loved the farm setting, even though we visited in November when the ferry at Fowey was shut and the pub nearby was closed because of Covid. Definitely want to return, hopefully in warmer months!
Emma
We needed a peaceful escapeand this cottage totally delivered. It’s super cosy, especially with the log burner when the weather gets cooler. The hot tub was a real highlight-used it every eveningand the night sky views are just stunning. We arrived with busy minds and left feeling totally recharged. The quiet surroundings made all the difference. Honestly, we had a fantastic stay and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend for a chillout break!
Sarah
The cottage was absolutely lovely and perfect for our three dogs, especially with the nice garden. We really enjoyed the hot tub every evening! The place had everything we neededand the owners were super friendly. Honestly, the week flew by!
