We stayed at this lovely cottage and really enjoyed the location - close to Tesco and some charming coastal towns. The upstairs suite was beautifully decorated and super comfy, with big beds that made for a great sleep. Sadly, the weather was pretty terrible the whole week, so we couldn't make use of the hottub, which was a bit disappointing. Managing the dogs in the carpeted lounge was trickyand a wider gate at the kitchen door would've made things easier. Still, a nice spot for a summer break, I think!

Owls Barn is a lovely place to stay. The bathrooms are really top-notchand the kitchen is well-equipped. We weren't expecting the welcome pack, which was a nice touch. The living room is spacious with comfy sofas and that hanging egg chair is adorable! Having TVs in all bedrooms was a real bonus. The location is perfect, just minutes from Ilfracombe and some great pubs nearby. We loved it!

We absolutely loved our stay at Owl Barn! The location is perfect for getting around to all the local attractions, plus there are great takeaways and restaurants nearbyand the views are just beautiful. All three dogs settled in immediately (which usually takes them a day or two!)and we all felt at home right away. The lovely touch of scones, cakeand soft bubbly on arrival was delightful. The entire house was very clean and well presented. We've already recommended it to friendsand we will definitely stay again!

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage! The place was immaculately clean and well-equipped, with a hot tub and a huge garden that had swings for the kids. The best part was discovering the sea view when we arrived - totally unexpected but stunning! The location was ideal, just a short drive to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. Ohand those horses that visited over the fence one evening? Absolutely adorable! We'd definitely come back.

Just got back from this stunning Holiday Cottage Owls Barn Ilfracombe! The place is absolutely immaculate and so spacious, the wildlife around is super calming. The cottage is just like the photos showedand the owners are really helpful if you need anything. The hot tub was a lovely bonusand the cottage has lots of gorgeous features inside and the outside space is just so pretty, with room for private parking. We really enjoyed watching the quad bikers zooming up the sheep hill. The horses even came to say hello every day!

We stayed here for a week during February half term with two adults, two kids and a dog. The property is great and really spacious, with a lovely large enclosed garden. Everything we needed was providedand there's a decent-sized television in the lounge, plus the hot tub was a nice bonus! The views of the sea and Wales beyond are stunning. It feels like you're in the middle of nowhere, which is a great thing for us, but you're just five minutes from a supermarket and just a bit more to the centre of Ilfracombe. There's a quad bike track nearby, but it didn't bother us at all as we enjoyed watching them.

This cottage is beautiful with fantastic views and loads of space, catering to all ages. The hot tub is a real bonus, plus there's room for the dogs to have a good play. It's just 5 minutes from Ilfracombe and a superstoreand only 15 minutes from Woolacombe beach!

During a stroll around the site you will encounter so of the worlds most endangered animals and also take a peek back to prehistoric times when Dinosaurs roamed the earth. The park is home to the worlds only full size animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex as well as Lions, Wolves, Sea Lions, Meerkats and many other species, Top attractions include the amazing Sea Lion Shows, Falconry Display and Sea Lion Swims.

Exmoor Zoo is described as a "family zoo" on their website and it certainly makes a great day out for families. There are many exotic and rare animals as well as birds to see which are living in natural surroundings. Some recent improvements at the zoo include a new 5 metre tower at the cheetahs and raised walkways at the "beast". There is also a new viewing platform over the sitatunga. As well as the amazing animals to experience there are regular fun activities such as face painting, daily events and zoo trails.
