Riviere Barton Reviews

Alessandra
The property was beautiful! It rained a lot when we were there and there were games and books to read. We loved the cosy, stylish and elegant decoration and it was cosy and felt luxurious at the same time. The only issue was with the outside space. We have a nosy little dachshund to loves to explore and it wasn't enclosed as it stated in the details. We managed to construct a barrier to keep her safe whilst we were in the hottub, but this wouldn't have worked if she had been any bigger, or if she'd spotted a bird on the other side!! It is down a long, bendy driveway, though, and quite far from the main road, so we weren't too worried about it. We had lots of beautiful wanders around the grounds and there are some spectacular sea views from up the hill a bit. The facilities were second to none and we all had a great holiday. Thank you
Lovely stay at Riviere Barton. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable week. Very clean and tidy with a well equipped kitchen. The cottage was child friendly too and the layout makes it easy to toddler proof for future years as we can shut rooms off. Although the driveway is not enclosed it is long and wide and there were very few cars about so there was no issue with the children out the front and walking down to the climbing frame. Sadly we forgot to take wellies and the ground was boggy due to the rain but we're hoping to try out the climbing frame next time! Excellent location for getting out to all our usual stomping grounds. The main road is not far away. We will definitely be back!

We booked the property specifically as it had a hot tub however this was only partially useable and not suited for 4 due to the damage and decay of the hot tub cover. The owners it seems were met down by the delivery service but the damage was clearly not recent. Boiler packed up part way through the week and the owner was very responsive, resolving it quickly.

Such a beautiful property, perfectly located so that you have your own privacy but still within a short drive of towns, shops and days out. We couldnt have possibly asked for more in the way of homely touches, fully equipped with everything you could possibly need in a holiday home. We would 100 recommend and stay again our selves.
First time in Cornwall so didnt really know where to stay. We picked the best place and location. Riviere Barton has got absolutely everything you could possibly need. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone first class property

This is a beautiful house set in a quiet location. This immaculate house had lovely touches everywhere and was equipped with everything you might need. The hot tub was large and easy to operate and the outdoor area was spacious and perfect for a bbq in the warm evenings. I was worried that our young dog would like the freedom too much as the garden was not enclosed, but he stayed close by and if he did wonder, there was a nice, grassy park at the end of the drive which was quiet and safe and nowhere near a main road. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay at Riviere Barton . Well maintained with everything you need , lovely decor , very clean . Cannot fault . Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again sometime
Myself and my son have just had a holiday here. We both agree that this property is the most comfortable and well equipped property we have ever stayed in. The furniture and beds are lovely. The place is spotlessly clean and every kitchen utensil you could ever want. The hit tub was an absolute bonus that we used every day. The area is lovely, quiet and very relaxing. All in all we had the perfect break. We both would recommend a stay here. The owners check with us regularly that every thing is ok, very caring.
