Through to the sitting room, the woodburning stove fits into this cottage, bringing a warmth and relaxing atmosphere, great for unwinding in the evening, with the mounted Smart TV above to catch up on your latest soaps.

Climb the stairs past the selection of books to the first bedroom, which is a cheerful double, with a handy en-suite containing a WC and basin to save you from climbing down the stairs when nature calls. The second room is a twin which can be changed to a super-king-size on request, with a handy basin in the corner and some quirky decor.

Explore your surroundings and visit the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, learn about boating-making history, and enjoy the various displays, it also provides great views of the harbour. Try some paddleboarding at Gyllyngvase Beach, enjoy the sunset with some ice cream, or the sunrise with a Cornish pasty.

Pendennis Castle is a fun and interesting place to visit, check out the barracks, and World War II gun placements, depending on the day you may witness a medieval jousting tournament.
