The Hayloft Reviews

Gillian
Lovely peaceful location. Well appointed. Beautiful walks. We had everything we needed in the property and were welcomed with homemade shortbread & jam along with a bottle of wine. A nice touch!
Absolutely beautiful setting Friendly welcomeespecially the wine and home made shortbread. The cottage was immaculate with excellent facilities , decor and bedding.
The property was great. Small attention to detail such as homemade shortbread and being happy to provide an extra highchair were appreciated. We all enjoyed the stay. A lock on the main bathroom would be good to increase privacy to guests, particularly for those who are not as familiar with one another. We loved the bbq and hot tub outside.
We had a wonderful stay for new years. The house was beautiful and everything was lovely. Would definitely recommend the hayloft and will come again one day!

Katherine & Nigel, really looked after us. Nothing was too much trouble. We were even given a private tour of the race horse stables which was amazing. The accommodation was perfect and the location beautiful. Surrounded by the Devonshire countryside and close to lots of attractions. Would love to visit again

Thank you for a great break , we would definatly recomend a stay at the Hayloft to our friends.
The Hayloft was perfect for a few days away. The hosts made us feel very welcome and we really enjoyed our stay. It was very much a family run business which shone through. We were surprised to see a lovely welcome package on our arrival. The cottage was well equipped with everything you would need and to a high standard. We enjoyed using the hot tub and towels were provided for this. The beds were very comfortable, as was the seating area in the lounge. The bedrooms were kitted out with lovely features too. There were plenty of utensils, crockery and cookware to cook there, including a gas barbecue that was ready to cook on immediately. The Hayloft is situated on a farm with parking in a gravelled area. Take a walk around the farm to see some absolutely stunning scenery. We also had a tour of the farm and stables by the owner which was amazing. We loved it so much we'd like to return

We had a lovely time at this beautiful barn conversion. Stunning views, peace and quiet, a great hot tub and welllaid out. The owners had pretty much thought of everything re kitting out the kitchen and provided us with towels for the hot tub too, which was helpful. Great for country walks, the nearest beach is around an hour away.

Comfy beds, hot showers, lovely hot tub. All the condiments, tea, coffee, milk and little welcome items very much appreciated. Everything you'd need for your dog if you'd forgotten anything. Loved the walks from the doorstep you are warned it's hilly! Saw lots of deer and other wildlife. Large sofa is v soft and u sink into it, a little odd that the wall mounted telly is so off centre but it didn't affect viewing. Would have been ideal to have some larger glasses and nonplastic pasta bowls and we did struggle to dry our swim wear, hot tub towels and wet weather gear at the same time. There is an airer in the cleaning cupboard and the wash down hut was useful! Would visit again.
