Start your stay with a nostalgic journey on the West Somerset Railway, with a station right on your doorstep.

Steam trains chug their way through rolling hills to Minehead or Taunton, offering a wonderful way to soak up the scenery. There are walks directly from the house, winding through peaceful lanes, fields and woodlands.

If you prefer exploring on horseback, the surrounding bridleways make this a great area for a day of riding. The edge of Exmoor National Park lies 5 miles away, where wild moorland, deep valleys and sweeping coastal views create endless possibilities for hiking, wildlife spotting and picnicking.

A trip to the coast at Minehead (15 miles) is a change of scene, with its sandy beach, traditional seaside charm and access to the South West Coast Path. Enter the welcoming hallway and discover a property designed for relaxation, celebration, and comfort.

The country-style kitchen sits to your right, complete with a warming AGA that makes it a cosy hub for cooking and gathering. Back in the hallway, you’ll find a dedicated office equipped with desks for guests who need to catch up on work during their stay. Continue through to the elegant dining room, where a large table sets the scene for memorable meals with family and friends.

The hallway also leads to two inviting living areas: a snug with a wood burner and Smart TV; and a separate spacious lounge that boasts plush sofas, another Smart TV, and a second wood burner.
