Hidden behind ancient walls and surrounded by generous acreage, this remarkable home invites guests to step into a world shaped by centuries of stories, with its name linked to the land where the original hunting lodge of King Ina of Wessex was located. Sir Giles Daubeny built King Inas Palace in 1485 at the very start of the House of Tudor, the very year King Henry VII came into power.

Inside, the atmosphere shifts gently between grandeur and warmth, with the sitting room centred around a glowing woodburning stove that draws everyone together after days spent exploring. The dining room sets the scene for long meals and lively conversation, while the well?equipped kitchen provides everything needed for preparing shared feasts.

Four bedrooms await across the manor, including one super-king?size room, a king-size room with en-suite, a queen-size room and a spacious family room with one king?size bed and a single bed, offering generous space for groups seeking a memorable stay. You may have seen this amazing attraction on the BBC1 Animal Park programme.  This is actually the first safari park outside of Africa where you can get close to the animals from the comfort of your own car. Some of the highlights include the zebras, the wallabies in wallaby wood and the sea lion escorted cruise to Gorilla Island.  And of course the magnificent lions and tigers are a must see.  This really is an animal experience with a difference and you can save money by booking your tickets online.  This attraction is open until the end of October. Bicton Park and Gardens - EX9 7BJ
