Snowdrop Cottage Reviews

Claire
Overall this is a lovely cottage, easy to get to, large off road parking area, lovely enclosed outdoor space with a fantastic hot tub, comfy beds, real fire and nice furnishings, and Laugharne is beautiful. There were a few bits of attention to detail that were lacking for us, hence I've not given it 5 stars lack of lighting outside around hot tub area. Bathroom light fixture was really dim so impossible to do make up or shave in the mirror, bathroom tap was constantly leaking too. Nowhere to hang towels except in the tiny radiator, which then blocked the heat so the bathroom just felt cold and unpleasant. The heating timer was running about 4 hours fast so the heating was coming on at 3am and was off again by about 6pm. We weren't left any supplies to make a fire despite the blurb saying it came with those then two days into our stay the owner appeared unannounced to build a cabinet outside which then had fire stuff in it, too late as we'd already bought our own by this point . The TV facilities were really limited, a sky box in situ but not streaming sky, so really confusing as to which channels you could watch. The slopping ceiling in the bedroom added character, but if you are particularly tall you'd probably struggle, at a not very large 59 both me and hubby had to stoop a lot, so worth being in mind for anyone who is over 6ft and thinking of staying here. Overall enjoyed our stay, but it could have been a bit better with some of the things above.
A beautiful cosy cottage in a wonderful town. The hot tub was a bonus. We can see why it is booked all the time. Thank you Janet
Perfect getaway from hot tub to log burner snowdrop is one of the best places we ... Perfect getaway from hot tub to log burner snowdrop is one of the best places we have stayed in credit to Janet and the cleaners it was spotless welcome pack was a nice touch
Perfect cosy cottage, garden is fully secure so my dog could roam without worry of him escaping. Would of been a 5 star review but unfortunately the oven door was broken completely off when we arrived, I had seen a previous review about this so obviously an ongoing issue, limited us to what we could cook but wasn't the end of world. Laugharne village is lovely, the castle and surrounding walks are lovely, very dog friendly. Road is very busy but that didn't bother us. We would stay again if there was full cooking facilities.
We absolutely loved our stay at Snowdrop Cottage Laugharne. The garden was perfect for our dog, safe with plenty of room for him to play. The cottage has everything you could think of and the hot tub was an added bonus. The location was good for day trips out and especially Laugharne Castle within walking distance. Will definitely stay here again x

A really lovely cottage with everything we needed, it was set up really well and we loved the dog basket of equipment. The hot tub was fabulous and Laugharne is a beautiful village to explore. The road is busy outside at times but this wasn't a problem for us.
Beautiful very well kept cottage. Extremely comfortable and very peaceful. Could use a few more cups and baking trays as only one supplied was more for doing chips, pizza's etc. But that's the only negative comment I have and more of a suggestion really.
This is the 3rd year we've been to Snowdrop Cottage. We love Laugharne and the surrounding areas. The hot tub was lovely and a welcome bonus.
This is a lovely little cottage. The only reason for four stars is the road noise which starts quite early and doesn't die down until after 10pm. The cottage is very cute with a private garden and hot tub. We enjoyed our stay but the road noise may put us off in future which is a shame.
A quaint little cottage, to a high standard and very tastefully done. To have the bed linen and towels provided was a nice touch and the hot tub, well, who wouldnt want a hot tub in the garden. Great to keep the teenagers entertained in the evening. 4 adults and a very well behaved happy pooch cosy but enough room for us all. A great little find !
Thank you so much. Lovely celebratory weekend, cottage cosy, warm and close to village centre, welcome pack on arrival. We felt very loved.
We had a lovely time at Snowdrop Cottagez Laugharne! ! The hot
We had such a lovely time and was so comfortable in the cottage. My little one loved the hot tub every evening. We look forward to coming back again.

The cottage was wonderful. We loved our week there and laugharne is a magical place
The cottage was perfect, exactly what we wanted. Location was a great base for us to explore some of the beautiful coast, whilst also offering its own scenic walks.
A clean and comfortable holiday cottage. Instructions for the kettle and toaster would have been useful as we had not used such complicated gadgets before. The welcome pack was very 'welcome' and the hot tub was a treat.
Amazing cottage with hot tub. Lovely village. Great communication from owner. We've booked again for next year.

Great cottage, nice and clean, secure for the dog which was one of our big things. Had a fantastic stay.
Lovely cottage, a real treat to have the hot tub as well. We had a problem with the hot water and the owner was brilliant came over within half an hour and sorted it out for us. The road was abit noisy at times but we did get use to it over the week might be a problem for light sleepers. Hopefully will be back soon.

Lovely cottage we had a very relaxed week and would definitely come back!

The cottage was very well equipped with everything we could want. The kids loved the board games that were available. The hot tub was clean and well kept. The cottage was in a great location perfect for exploring the area and was nice and quiet when at home.

Really enjoyed our stay at snowdrop cottage. Janet has thought of everything you could possibly need during a stay. Really comfortable and warm, lovely log fire. Xmas Dec's added a special touch. The hot tub was hot and clean. Easy walk into Laugharne and drive to Pendine, Tenby and Carmarthen. Feeling very relaxed after our stay and can't wait to return.

Snowdrop Cottage is a beautiful and homely cottage. It has all you need for a comfortable stay. The owner is on hand if you need anything and nothing was to much trouble. The village offers plenty of choice for food and drink as well as shops and picturesque walks. We will definitely stay again.
Fantastic cottage, had everything that we needed and more. Very cosy and welcoming, felt very at home. Great place to spend a week relaxing and recuperating and very much needed. Thank you xx
The cottage and facilities were perfect for our needs. But I already knew that it would be as Ive stayed here several times before. I think that return visits are the best recommendation possible. And Ive stayed here 4 times now..
The property was very clean and comfortable With everything we needed for a lovely holiday It was very much home from home .
Melissa
A near perfect cottage close to all the local amenities Our only concern was that we didn't think the hot tub was checked all week which we feel if it wasn't it should have be done ! Also no flowers at all in any of the window boxes at the front and just dead grasses in the pots mostly around the back ,and it was Summer when we stayed! However we did really enjoy our stay and everything inside the cottage was lovely .
Snowdrop Cottage in Laugharne was absolutely perfect for our family holiday. The beds were comfortable, the cottage itself was a home from home and all the extra details showed the care that had been put into making our holiday that little bit easier especially appreciated when you have two toddlers in tow. The hot tub was a real treat and we would definitely consider rebooking it in the future.
Very nice cottage and a great host. Hot tub was a great addition.
Fantastic cottage. Great location. We enjoyed a great week at snowdrop cottage it was immaculate and equipped with everything you need. The hot tub was a lovely treat at the end of the day, the garden is a real sun trap and private. Would love to come back maybe in the winter
We had a great week at Snowdrop Cottage in a lovely village perfect for a family like ours 2 adults 8 and 11 year old and our dog Willow. Lovely throughout and a lovey enclosed garden area with hot tub. Janice left us a lovely welcome pack. The cottage was well equipped clean and comfortable. The only thing that let it down was the noise of the road but you soon get used to it and dont notice it. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
Lovely cottage that provided everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Looking to book again next year if you'll have us.
Had a lovely stay at Snowdrop Cottage. The house is well equipped with everything you could need for your stay. The garden and hot tub are lovely and made our holiday. Will definitely be booking again.

Lovely stay at snow drop cottage, our stay was perfect. . lovely welcome pack from the owners .. only thing missing was a place to hang out clothes in the one bedroom had to share a wardrobe with the people in the other room.
Lovely cosy cottage. Excellent value for money. Would definitely stay again. Our only problem was the bathroom was downstairs. But the hot tub made up for this.
