Situated in the picture-postcard village of Borth y Gest, this contemporary-styled property offers bright and welcoming rooms across both floors. The airy living bathes in natural light thanks to French doors that lead onto the patio, while the striking kitchen/diner stands next door.

Each of the three bedrooms on the first floor - a king-size bedroom; a twin bedroom and a single bedroom - enjoy built-in wardrobes and fantastic sea views. The same can be said of the private patio, accessed via the French doors in the living room, an area which feeds into the shared lawns beyond.

Borth y Gest is a seaside village home to a sheltered harbour and a host of pubs, cafes and bistros. The Wales Coast Path runs through the village and as well as opening up the breathtaking shoreline, can take guests to towns including Porthmadog (1 mile) and beaches such as Black Rock Sands (3.5 miles).

The remarkable Italian-style architecture of Portmeirion (3.5 miles) is an absolute must for anyone visiting the area, while farther inland, Snowdon (13.5 miles) is symptomatic of the iconic peaks, valleys and lakes found within Snowdonia National Park.

Borthy-y-Gest provides a wonderful setting for exploring and enjoying this part of north-west Wales. This holiday home provides an excellent base for enjoying your holiday. The holiday home is highly recommended.

What a lovely house! Friendly local neighbours, great views and very well equipped for home cooking. Borth-Y-Gest was the best place to stay for the beaches hidden around the corner in some coves and 15 minute walk into Porthmadog! Best beach was Harlech beach for usâ?¦. Massive and so quiet and great waves for body bording! A train ride too is a must! Thank you North Wales, we will be back!
Christine
Location was absolutely perfect for exploring north Wales. The house was clean and comfortable. The little gifts from the owner was a lovely touch, the Welsh cakes were yummy! Everything we needed was provided.

We had a lovely stay in Borth y gest with amazing sandy beaches on the doorstep, a short walk to Portmadog and attractions close by including Portmerion and Ffestiniog railway and others within an hour away if you drive like Llanberis and Llandudno. The house was perfect for a family, clean & tidy, nicely decorated, linen, towels and everything needed in kitchen. A lovely touch was a treat tray of welsh goodies, tea bags and milk in the fridge on our arrival. We are hoping to return soon!
Felicity

This is a wonderful clean comfortable property in an excellent location. Angharad is a lovely attentive host. Perfect for those wanting to explore this beautiful area and it's steam railways.
Rebecca
Really pleased with property, We found we had almost everything we needed for cooking , ( tongs and a whisk wouldn't go a miss though), We liked the location and it's only 15 mins walk into Porthmadog. There is so much to do in the area , was a lovely touch to arrive and there be a welcome of cake , milk sugar and tea bags . Will be going back ! Thankyou
Stephen
The house was easy to find and the parking was adequate. On entering the property we noticed that it was clean and tidy and on further inspection we found all the things that we would need for our short stay. On reading the welcome pack, there were some things missing, or information that could be better explained on the operation of things. Apart from that the area was quiet and well maintained. Typical of a housing estate parking around the estate was at time hazardous but nothing bad. All in all, a great short stay.
Peter
We had a lovely week here in lovely house anything needed was to hand , as fully equipped. Had several walks down to harbour , taking hot drinks with us and sat watching the world go by . We would definitely return here , very central for lots of Welsh activities.
