Station Hall Reviews

Fantastic week even in February, second time visiting Station Hall and even found places we hadnt been before. Hot tub was still brilliant and Margi the housekeeper is a gem if you need to know or need anything she just the person to contact. Even though been twice would still book to go again. Good large three bedroom house. Good pubs near by.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Station Hall. Had everyrhing we needed, garden was lovely for the dogs to wander in. Jacuzzi was really good. Great area didn't have to go far to enjoy ourselves.

The cottage is lovely and in a great location for short drives to different beaches and little seaside towns. On arrival we spent 4 hours cleaning which was disappointing, It hadnt been hoovered disgustingly there were toe nail clippings behind the sofa near the front door, the pots, pans, cups and cutlery needed washing before we could use the floors downstairs not mopped and had dirty shoe prints, dog poop in the garden that hadnt been picked up, really dusty in most places. Hot tub was a nice touch but could not be used the first two days as it was cold and not ready on arrival.
The house was perfect and the people in the village couldn't have been nicer
The house was perfect and the people in the village couldn't have been nicer
Lovely cottage, great facilities, hot tub brilliant idea, outside facilities good, kitchen well equipped. Negatives were rusty accessories in the bathrooms, dust on top of wardrobes and behind headboards, bedroom door to ensuite room doesn't shut, bedding and towels are due for replacement as looking well worn. Please update the recycling information and providing a property welcome information pack would be a great help. The windows need cleaning desperately, I was so tempted to clean them, it's such a lovely place and looking through dirty windows is quite irritating. For the price I paid I did expect the finer details to be better. Great location. Lovely stay though thank you would definitely stay again.
The house was exactly as advertised, nice location, great hot tub, very cosey , had a great stay

We had a lovely stay the property was clean and well equipped, there was a cosy and friendly local pub the Mason Arms around the corner as well as a beautiful beach. The garden was spacious and the hot tub was a lovely addition, thank you for a great stay!
We had a fantastic weeks holiday even though it rained some days. Holiday was easy to book and we were kept informed on all information. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked for next year. We absolutely loved the hot tub and house was excellent. The house had everything that you needed and was well equipped.
Really good cottage. good communication and absolutely no dramas. Particularly liked the ability to just get on with it, not be liaising with someone about arrival times etc
The cottage is in a good location. We enjoyed the hot tub. The house is clean and uncluttered. It's ideal for a family and dog. It feels very comfortable.
Andrew
The hot tub was fabulous and not promoted enough. Lots of hot tub properties share the tub but here its private, a huge tub and in a lovely enclosed grassy garden. If you want to eat locally at the Cardiff Arms pub please be sure to book in advance as theyre popular and we missed out twice.
Pictures don't do outside facility's justice . Best outside space I've stayed in fantastic hot tub and housing which can be closed or open
Great home in a great location for exploring south west Wales in the car and on foot Home from home experience with all of the amenities and a great place to unwind after a busy day exploring with the fantastic hot tub!
The garden was great and safe for the dog , nice and clean with some groceries there if needed would stay again
Fantastic stay. cottage is very big and easy to get to. the dogs loved it been so close to the sea the only down side is there is Daves pet shop straight across the road and can get very noisy out there when you have a lazy day in the cottage. everything else is great.
Natasha
We visited this house with our 2 dogs in August. We were a bit worried about what to expect in the middle of COVID19 but everything was fine and we had nothing to worry about. The house was in a good location and the facilities were great. The large garden was great and had ample parking. The location was good for visiting local beaches and the village was pretty. We would visit this property again.
Mobile signal was very patchy in the house. Our mobile phones are supported by 4 different mobile providers but signal was non existent or vey weak, this in addition to no WiFi not owners fault , more a local issue made it difficult to keep in contact with employers and relatives. Sykes provided a list of things that would not be available at the property due to Covid restrictions eg drying cloths, cushions, oven gloves etc but all were provided at the property.
Patricia
Beautifully appointed cottage in a friendly village. .

Best holiday cottage we've stayed in. Clean, comfortable, and spacious. Had everything we needed. In a nice village with shop, and two friendly pubs nearby. Great location to explore west Wales. 1010.
Not letting people know there is a dog warehouse opposite the house & a dog ... Not letting people know there is a dog warehouse opposite the house & a dog kennel nr the house so web the windows are open it can b quite noisy
Well situated house in a lovely area, a credit to the owner, even down to his own movie channel, Everywhere was very comfortable, and clean. Thank you
I've used Sykes Cottages for the last 3 years to book my summer UK holidays. Easy to use service, great communications and very comfortable, well catered for properties. Station Hall is in a lovely quiet village with some beautiful walks by the river. The owners had thought of everything!! The outside BBQ area was well used by us and the secure garden meant that we didn't have to worry about our dog wandering off! All beds were very comfortable and the showers were powerful. The large airy living room was a great space to veg out in the evening and watch some of the films the owners had thoughtfully supplied. Cardigan is about 4 miles away and a lovely place to visit if you love Pizza check out Pizzatipi.

Excellent holiday can thoroughly recommend the accommodation. Possibly the only disadvantage was none of the pubs in Cilgerron sold food but the facilities including the barbeque more than made up for this and there are good restaurants available a short drive away.
Beautiful cottage in a peaceful village but with easy access to nearby towns with amazing beaches.
Great property close to two pubs and a small general store, 5 mins walk away. Totally enclosed and safe garden for our dog. With a car, lots of places to visit within 1 hour. Recommend Poppit Sands, Saunderfoot, Wisemans Bridge and Milford Haven Marina.
Alison
It as a great location luckily we had the weather too
Tracey
A real gem. Beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean and well furnished. Lovely location, peaceful and yet only minutes in car or on bus to town and beyond. Welsh Wildlife Centre literally just up the road well worth a visit. Walk down steep to the river and woodland also worth exploring and the hill back up got easier as the week progressed! A brilliant find no doubt will be fully booked from now on in.
Michael
Very nice home and clean on arrival. Good location as a base for the area. Good walk along the river that is near the house. Would highly recommend this place.
Station Hall is a very spacious, well equipped property in a lovely village. Our family was very impressed with the facilities available, especially the outdoor barbeque area. We would definitely recommend Station Hall.
