Ty Mawr Reviews

Huge spacious bungalow, very comfy beds and sofas. Great secure large garden for our dogs. So peaceful and quiet. Hot tub was great, and well maintained. Perfect for our extended family and 4 dogs. Will definitely be back.

Sadly a disappointing stay in a lot of respects. The property was clearly a very nice building some years ago but has had little in the way of updating in recent years. The hot tub was absolutely filthy when we arrived we own a hot tub and I have genuinely never seen one so gross, it clearly had not been emptied or even cleaned before our stay. The property is also next to a kennels something not mentioned in the listing this made is extremely noisy at all hours of the day with dogs barking. Bit of a shame because the geographic location is ideal for trips to Fishguard or elsewhere on that Welsh coast.
Lovely property for a medium to large size family plus 2 dogs house was perfect for our little getaway and would highly recommend to anyone.
The property was in a very nice and spacious, lovely place, shops nearby in about 1015min drive, only few things need some attention such as door locks needs replacing, bin bags, toiletries. And out door will be ideal. Otherwise perfect place.
Fabulous property which was exactly as described. We were a family of 9 adults and 2 children. Theres plenty of room for everyone. The sliding doors in the kitchen were a bit tricky to lock but we got there in the end. Plenty of car parking spaces. My only gripe would be that there was no ability to recycle all rubbish went in the same big bin which was a bit disappointing. All in all a great stay for us and I think well be back.
Great location, great weather which always helps. There was plenty of space in the property for a family of ten plus 4 dogs who especially enjoyed the secure garden. Would definitely consider booking again. The only negative would be the pool table, either upgrade or replace with a table tennis perhaps, it does not reflect the good standard of the rest of the property.

We stayed over new year, the heating and christmas decorations were up and outdoor lights on when we arrived, which made it very welcoming. We were a family of 10 adults, had had a wonderful stay , enjoying the hot tub and games room, during the evening and visiting places recommended in the folder during the day. There was a substantial food basket, with fresh local produce which was much appreciated. We contacted the owner late evening on the day we arrived, to see if there were any extra pans and casserole dishes as we were planning to cook all our meals in the bungalow. By mid morning the next day we had a wide selection of new pans, casserole dishes and roasting trays. We couldn't have asked for more. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect holiday cottage for large family of varying ages. Everyone was happy, entertained and comfortable for the whole stay, even the 4 legged furry members!
Lovely spacious house. Although next to kennels it was not that noisy. Games room was a big hit. Unfortunately a lamp was broke on arrival which I reported but some other lamps had been clued together. Twin room at end of hall had problems with the slats dropping through. Attention to cleaning particularly the glass doors had dog nose prints on them and the bathroom near the utility needed a better clean. Other than that we had a lovely stay and was welcomed with a bunch of goodies.
Anyone who rents this home will be amazed at how big it is inside. 5 double size bedrooms.had a couple of minor problems which we made the owner aware of and he was on his way to sort.would recomend this property to any one.big garden to exercise your dogs.and a hottub.
Had a great time and would be happy to come again. Plenty of space in the property, and it was very comfortable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Ty Mawr, we were the first to log in under new ownership, and I must say it was an absolutely lovely experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. Ty Mawr itself was very spacious I think the pictures dont do much justice and newly refurbished, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, with tasteful furnishings, comfortable beds, and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The cleanliness was impeccable, and it was clear that the owners take great pride in maintaining their property. One of the highlights of our stay was the stunning location and easy access. The holiday home was nestled amidst breathtaking Pembrokeshire, offering picturesque views, close to most amazing beaches and lush towns . It was the perfect retreat for relaxation and reconnecting with nature. We enjoyed leisurely walks in the nearby trails and spent evenings savouring the peaceful ambiance on the patio. The owner, Matthew was incredibly friendly and accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was enjoyable and stressfree. Their recommendations for local attractions were spoton, and we discovered some hidden gems thanks to their guidance. Overall, our stay at Ty Mawr exceeded our expectations in every way. It was a true haven of tranquillity and provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I highly recommend this holiday home to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of luxury. We can't wait to return for another memorable stay in the future! Thank you to the owners for providing such a delightful experience.
