The pictures don't do this cottage justice. It's got a lot of space for 2 families and the games room was a great addition for the kids. The pub is right across the road which was a win as well. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.

Was a lovely cottage bigger than pictures show was clean tidy and had everything we needed was nicely decorated for Christmas hot tub and games room was used everyday. Close to waterfalls which we love and walks. Owner Wayne was brilliant always there for answers and help. Recommend cottage to anyone .

4 adults 4 children 1311 and 2 dogs had the most relaxing and comfortable holiday here. The house has everything we needed. A little noisy by the road but after a few nights we adapted to that. The hot tub was kept so clean by the owner that even I as a cancer fighter used it every day. The kids loved the games room and the Wii machine was played on every single day. Comfortable beds and luxury of bathrooms in every room. The dogs were well catered for too apart from no water bowl. We would definitely rebook this home.

Amazing property! 4 large all on ensuite bedrooms, massive kitchen, dinning area and lounge. Hot tub and games room added bonus to keep our 4 teenagers entertained. Pub across the road couldn't be more friendly and food was spot on. Literally couldn't have needed anything else, absolutely spot on

We had a wonderful week's stay. The house was perfect. Had everything we needed for our stay. Having en suites in all the bedrooms is perfect, and quite unusual, so it adds a sense of opulence. The games room is great, although the pool table could do with a little TLC, but still playable. We throughly enjoyed the hot tub and the outside area. Our dog loved the garden area, running about chasing her balls. The photos on the site really doesn't do the property justice. Great place to unwind, relax and spend time with family.

Once again, another great stay at the Old Post Office. Ideal location for Elan Valley and other Nature Reserves nearby. We had a lot of fun in the games room and loved the hot tub. Great kitchen, dinning area and lounge. Would love to come back and maybe explore further afield

The facilities at the property were perfect, exactly what we were looking for. The house itself was huge and well suited for our whole family including our 2 pooches. We had a fantastic tim!. The only negative was the colour of the bedding, especially on the ground floor double. I didn't feel very comfortable as it felt a little dingy possibly my own issue. A gate between the house and the garden would also be useful, especially when one of us had to leave the property and open the gates. The welcome pack, towels and use of extra bedding was great. The hot tub seemed clean and the set up of the garden was great. The owners seems very accommodating and replied to any queries we had. Thank you very much for our stay we had a great little break!

What a superb house! ! We had a great holiday at the Old Post Office. It was fully equipped with EVERYTHING you could need. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable we were a party of 5 adults and 2 dogs. The hot tub was fantastic warm and bubbly! The games room had a pool table, foosbal and darts. It was also heated, which was a nice touch as it wasn't part of the house. There was plenty of seating in the lounge loved the reclining seats. Lots of nice walks within a 30 minute drive of the property. If we came back to the area we would definitely book to stay here again!

This was our 2nd stay at the property. This year we stayed over Christmas, the house was beautifully decorated, we couldn't have asked for more. I would highly recommend that you stay at this property, we will definitely go again. The owners are on hand if you need anything they go above and beyond to make you stay the best. Best hot tub of any property I have been too. The kids loved the games room. This is an Amazing House!

Excellent large cottage loads of space for 6 people great hot tub and games room . Great location to explore mid wales . Only small fault was all the batteries in the tv,s and freeview player were flat but apart from that highly recommend this cottage bid you have a large family or group of friends . 5 stars from us. The photographs of The Old Post Office don't do it justice, the house is immaculate, comfortable and spacious. The attention to detail is second to none. There was a lovely welcome pack too! We had three generations staying and everyone enjoyed the games room and the hot tub. Our grandsons loved the fact the garden was large enough for them to play football in too! Wayne and Nikki were perfect hosts and communication both before our stay and during was excellent. If we choose to holiday in this part of Wales again we would definitely return here.

We have just had a fantastic family holiday here! We were a party of 7, the place was very spacious and immaculate. The games room was fun and the large hot tub was popular all week. Nice large dining table, cosy living room, amazing kitchen and beautifully decorated bedrooms with very comfy beds, all ensuite. Every little thing has been thought of! Had a meal in the Severn Arms pub across the road which was delicious. We will definitely be coming here again.

We had an amazing stay at the Old Post Office. We practically lived in the Games room and the Hot tub. The whole house is spacious, bright and well equipped. Each room has its own ensuite, and walk in wardrobe! The kitchen, living room and diner was another well used and loved space for us. The table in the kitchen was perfect for spending time together while cooking as well. The wii was a great hit with the kids as was the pool table and darts, we loved the magnetic ones for the smaller ones too. The place has so much, its only 10min to the nearest town where there is an AldiTesco and local restaurants and pubs. There was so much thought put into the place and theres something for everyone there! DVDs, games, books, puzzleshot tub, pool table and darts. We will be back! Highly recommend!

The Old Post Office was the perfect place to spend a family Christmas with fabulous festive decorations and lights adding to the 'home from home' atmosphere. The photos online did not do the property justice and it exceeded our expectations, being far more spacious than we imagined it might be. We particularly enjoyed the cosy living room with log fire, while the TV, kitchen and other facilities were all to a high standard. Its location is also excellent, being just minutes from Llandrindod and across the road from the welcoming Severn Arms Hotel. All in all we would definitely recommend this property.

We were hesitant to book this property for few reasons like its right on road and it doesn't look big as per the pictures. But we went ahead and booked looking at other reviews and we don't regret taking the right decision. This property has an other entrance towards the side and it's massive and the images on the website don't do any justification for the property. The host has been really helpful and responsive. I would say if in doubt, go ahead and book it.

The description and reviews of this accommodation meant we went with high expectations and we were not disappointed. We are a party of 4 adults, ranging from 86 to 22, who all need their own room and to find a property of this quality with an ensuite each at a price we could afford was amazing. We only have a small dog, so I was not sure the garden was 100 secure, but a a medium sized dog would be fine. The hot tub, games room and pub across the road added to the experience. We would recommend a stay.

The Post Office is a great place for a large group to stay. Large rooms, well equipped with the hot tub and games room as a bonus.

We enjoyed our stay, our only constructive criticism relates to the kitchen 1. The plinth below the dishwasher needs to be cut as when you openclose the dishwasher it bangs against it and sounds as if you are breaking it. 2. The knives really are not very nice to eat with, they are very thin and awkward to hold Lots of info available about the area and thoughtful bits left in the cottage for us thank you. Liked the games room but couldnt work out how to put the heater on it was pretty cold when we rented it. Plenty of room for a group of 8 to stay.

We had a lovely stay at the Old Post Office. We were a family group of four adults and two dogs. There was everything we needed. The hot tub was brilliant and the games room was great evening entertainment. There was lots of walking in the area and plenty of routes from the house for lead walks for the dogs. The welcome pack was very much appreciated. We would definitely consider staying here again.

The Old Post Office was a fantastic place to stay, we all thoroughly enjoyed our week here. There was plenty of room for our 7 adults including 4 bedrooms, each having their own ensuite, comfortable furniture for relaxing in and a separate, large dining area. The kitchen was large and extremely well equipped. Having the large utility room was very useful for storing supplies. Outside there was a large hot tub with patio furniture next to it, all under a wooden shelter perfect if the weather isn't dry! The games room provided lots of fun too. I would highly recommend this lovely property.

Excellent property which suits four couples. We loved the fact that all of the bedrooms were ensuite. The kitchen is fabulous and had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. Our family loved the outdoor space, the games room and hot tub were a hit with everyone. We appreciated the welcome pack.

The house was great for our party which consisted of 6 adults. There was plenty of space for cooking and socialising in the house, with the added bonus of the hot tub and games room and a pub across the road. The welcome pack was very much appreciated and a great introduction to Welsh Cakes. Plenty of secure parking for our three cars and a great base to explore the region. We had trips to The Devils Bridge, HayOnWye and a few castles. I would highly recommend this property.

This is a great property with excellent facilities. We loved using the games room and the outside space which was very secure for our dogs. The area is lovely with some great walks close by. The pub across the road also does great food and offers takeaway. The road outside the property is quite busy but this didn't bother us. I would definitely recommend this property.

This exquisite 'value for money' property has absolutely everything, from the lovely 'Welcome food pack' to the hot tub, games room, and en suite bedrooms, the owners have thought of everything to make your holiday a truly memorable experience.

We stayed in middle of March for one week for a family holiday to celebrate an 80th birthday. The house very comfortable to accommodate 8 adults. The kitchen was was well stocked with utensils. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and the added bonus of the games room. Plenty of parking and owners very helpful.

Perfect property for a group of friends, all ensuite bathrooms and plenty of space. The house had everything you need, the log burner was great for this time of year after a long wet bike ride. The house is in a good location for exploring the local area.
