About The Beach Haven

The Beach Haven rests close to the Blue Flag beach at Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire, and is the perfect spot for a holiday home within walking distance of the beach and a range of exciting activities and amenities. Perfect for pet owners, family getaways, or gatherings with friends, the property offers well-proportioned accommodation and is the ideal base from which to discover the delights of Mablethorpe and beyond.

From the minute you park up on the driveway and step into the attractive gardens, your holiday can begin. The gardens provide the perfect setting to unwind and soak up the Mablethorpe sunshine, offering ample space for alfresco relaxation.

Treat yourself to a rejuvenating soak in the hot tub, adding a touch of indulgence to your stay. Walk into the property and you are greeted by a hallway leading to bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms and lounge, complete with a TV and a sumptuous orange leather corner sofa which makes a gorgeous focal point to the room and is somewhere you can imagine relaxing and chilling out together.

Step into the perfectly formed large kitchen/diner which has everything you could need to produce delicious food for the holiday party or unbox a local takeaway. When it’s ready to serve up, if it’s not warm enough to dine outside, then take a seat at the elegant dining table and enjoy each other’s company while eating and drinking in style.

At bedtime, guests can choose from three well-presented ground-floor bedrooms or one on the first floor and with two bathrooms in the house, no need to worry about any morning queues! When you get up in the morning, you are already in the best position for getting out and about exploring, so why not head to the beach 200 meters away at Mablethorpe for the day?

Lovely property in a great location. The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Great for dogs and kids alike. The hot tub was an added bonus. The welcome hamper was amazing. Hope to visit again and would highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay at the beach haven. It was like a home from home. Lovely hamper basket and the hot tub was enjoyed by us all. The tiniest thing i would mention would be the blinds not shutting properly in one of the front bedrooms but other than that we had a great time and would stay again

We had a great stay from start to finish. The hot tub's temperature was ready to use on the first evening of our stay and was a wonderful addition to our experience. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the meals we wanted. The hamper provided for our arrival was great. The bedrooms were comfortable, although we didn't need to use the first floor one, which was very very hot when we went to look at it, due to the weather we were experiencing. The location of the property was ideal, as we could walk either way and be at the beach in a few minutes . Both bathrooms were great, showers were powerful.
Loved this place. Fully equipped, five minute walk to town or beach. Very comfortable. Dog friendly. Accommodates 8 people only four of us so the hit tub felt massive.

The property was well presented,clean and ideally situated close to the centre of Mablethorpe and Queens Park The hot tub was most enjoyable and the welcome pack was certainly a bonus A few points to be noted rather than criticisms The hot tub was cold when we arrived so could not be used until the next day much to the disappointment of everyone I understand that it needs to be cleaned regularly so maybe to be informed in advance would be helpful A hairdryer would be a very useful addition together with dishwasher tablets and bin liners either in the bins or supplied Would have happily swapped some items in the welcome pack for these I would recommend it though for an enjoyable stay in Mablethorpe
Had a lovely time at The Beach Haven, everything was there that we needed, great location for beach & shops. Very dog friendly & amazing welcome hamper. Have already recommended to friends & will definitely stay again if visiting the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Beach Haven. Upon arrival we were met with the best welcome hamper we've ever had, it also included treats for out two dogs. The property and garden area is amazing and very well thought out especially for a large family like us. We never felt cramped in any way. The beds were super comfy and there was plenty of towels. The kitchen is very well planned too, with everything you need. The house is ideally located to explore Mablethorpe and just a short walk to the beach. The hot tub was great and all the family loved it. We really enjoyed our time at the Beach Haven and we've had a lovely break away. Thank you!

We stayed at The Beach Haven over Easter and it was superb for a multi generational holiday! The best welcome basket we have ever seen and we have stayed in alot of cottages over the years. Even the dog was spoilt. Owners were quick to respond when I messaged to advise of a couple of breakages only charging the cost which was much appreciated. Hot tub best and biggest we have ever had fabulous, clean and warm. Would definitely recommend staying st The Beach Haven. Thanks for a great stay The MacLarens
Heating not working over the weekend. Neither sykes nor owner contactable until monday! No clear guidance on what is allowed locally in the recycling bin which most other rentals provide in a folder along with the owners contact details. Otherwise the layout was ideal for our party. Not far to walk into town or the beach. Coop and Aldi walking distance bigger Tesco a bit further away.

Rides are split into three wristband levels, Discovery and Adventurer for thrill seekers and Little Explorer for younger children, with height restrictions applying. Outdoor rides sit alongside an indoor entertainment complex in a steel pyramid.

Tip: Check the park is open before you go, as it closes between seasons. Wristbands can be pre-booked online or bought on arrival, and the right one depends on your height.

Bolingbroke Castle is a ruined castle in Old Bolingbroke, Lincolnshire. It was founded in 1220 by Ranulf, Earl of Chester, shortly after he returned from the Fifth Crusade. It is one of the earliest castles designed and built without a keep, relying instead on thick walls, five D-shaped towers and a twin-towered gatehouse.

Tip: Look for the lower walls and the ground floors of the towers, which are the main surviving parts to see.

Tattershall Castle is a National Trust property built in the 15th century by Ralph Cromwell, Treasurer of England. The Great Tower is an imposing red-brick keep with seven storeys, including the Parlour, Great Hall, Audience Chamber and Private Chamber. Some of the huge medieval fireplaces were once ripped out for sale abroad before being tracked down and returned.

Tip: The tower has 149 steps and no lift, and the grounds have deep gravel, so wear sensible shoes. Dogs on leads can go in most places but not inside the Great Tower, except assistance dogs.
