The White House Reviews

Simon
An excellent cottage, with plenty of space for our party of seven adults and one baby. You just need to be aware that this is located in a very small hamlet, and all roads in are narrow single track unclassified ones, so unless you are comfortable driving on these and occasionally reversing to allow another vehicle to pass, it won't be for you. We thought o=it was worth it though for the rural location and the peace and quiet.
Martin
A good and relaxing holiday in great location and property.
Christopher
The White house fitted our requirements brilliantly; plenty of room, delightful garden and good enough weather to eat outside. We particularly liked having our own staircase and 'wing' so did not hear what time the grandchildren surfaced! The owners Jon & Kate live the other side of the field and when we needed a light bulb (having been unable to locate the correct type among the spares) Jon brought one in minutes! The grandchildren loved meeting the horses, but were not so keen on the plentiful plums we were encouraged to help ourselves to. We found the location convenient for the Broads, national trust type places and coast. A great place in all senses.

We had a wonderful holiday at White House and our hosts were most welcoming. The layout suited us perfectly and dinner in the garden every evening was a real treat. The location was ideal. Quiet and secluded but not far from the coast and surrounding towns. The garden was perfect for the dogs and our grand daughter, who particularly liked the horses who visited us each evening. Kate and Jon were great hosts and made sure our stay was relaxed. We highly recommend the White House.

A nice comfortable home in a quiet rural location. Suitable for a large family group. Nice garden/grounds with suitable spaces inside and out to not feel over crowded. Thank you.

We had a fantastic weekend at this beautiful house in April. The owners were incredibly helpful, and the idyllic location was perfect for quiet dog walks and pub lunches. We'd definitely recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Alison
We had a fantastic holiday with all 3 generations loving every second we spent with each other. The horses in the next field were a definite highlight for young and old alike. A lovely spot to reconnect as a family.
Alex
Lovely cottage in beautiful setting, large lawn for a kickabout and the kids loved the horses next door who came to say hello. Plenty of room for a big group weekend away. Host very helpful and communicative.

We had the best easter stay - the weather shone so we got to embrace the beautiful garden and what a lovely surprise it was to have horses greet us morning and night! Garden secure for the dogs too which was amazing Overall an amazing stay highly recommend

An amazing house in a stunning rural location with enough room for our party to relax and not feel crowded. Two spacious outdoor seating areas with a beautiful dog friendly garden that is completely fenced and looks out over glorious countryside. All the rooms were large and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed plus a utility room. A very large lounge with comfy sofas. Two of the bedrooms had ensuites plus another had a bathroom right next door meaning no squabbling for a shower. Parking for four cars. Working and stable WIFI. Perfect. The owners were fantastic with a welcome package, texts to make sure we were ok and were available if you needed anything but never obtrusive. That good we booked up for another week next year.
Maria

We had a lovely week in the White House, there was plenty of room for 8 adults, a baby and a dog. The garden was also spacious, just what our 4 legged traveller needed. Not too far from the places we wanted to visit.
Vivien
Excellent location although the roads are narrow, there are passing points. Garden was wonderful for our dogs, plenty of fruit trees and shrubs, evenings sat at the garden table barbecue meals and a glass or two are a perfect end to a day after exploring all the north of Norfolk has to offer. Colder evenings in the lounge were comfortable, with seating for all, ensuring the family fun continued,
Sam
The house was a fantastic size and the layout really worked for our group of 2 families. The gardens were lovely and kept very well and also super safe for dogs - parking was easy and spacious.
Nick
It was as described lovely garden secure for the dogs to play in
