One of three holiday cottages within the grounds of a friendly village inn, this end-of-terrace house has chic styling, underfloor heating and all the must-haves for a hassle-free holiday. Step inside and you’ll find a bright, open-plan living space with dark wood floors and, at one end, an inviting lounge area with a large corner sofa and Smart TV.

At the other end of the room, the sleek kitchen sits opposite a striking table and bench seating. When it’s time to retire, the ground floor also features a super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite wet room, while two further super-king-size bedrooms, each with en-suite shower rooms, are on the first floor.

All the bedrooms here have their own Smart TV, and their zip-and-link beds can be made up as twins on request. For a breath of fresh air, step through the double door in the lounge and into your garden, where there’s a lawn, a patio with dining furniture and a hot tub for six; the end of the garden is hedged and animals graze in the fields beyond.

If you’re holidaying with youngsters, there’s a lovely children’s play area in the beer garden next door. There is private parking for one car with additional parking in the adjacent pub car park, subject to availability.
