Step inside to discover a beautifully presented open-plan living space, where the well-equipped kitchen, dining area, and sitting area flow together to create a sociable heart to the home, ideal for lingering over leisurely suppers after days spent exploring.

Fire up the electric oven and induction hob to rustle up favourite dishes, gather everyone around the dining table to share stories, then unwind in front of the TV for film nights and planning tomorrow’s adventures. A useful utility keeps holiday clutter neatly tucked away, while a sleek family bathroom with a bath, walk-in shower, basin, and WC, plus a separate cloakroom, ensures getting ready each morning is refreshingly fuss-free.

When it is time to retire, three elegant bedrooms await, including two double bedrooms and a twin, each thoughtfully dressed to provide an inviting haven at the end of the day. Outside, the courtyard with furniture invites you to savour your first cuppa in the fresh country air, before sinking into the private hot tub later on, watching dusk settle across the farm.

Set along leafy country lanes in a small village, Courtyard View places you within strolling distance of a welcoming village pub and a network of footpaths that weave through the farm and delightful rural scenery. Venture to Ashbourne, once a fashionable Georgian social hub, where cobbled lanes, old market stalls, restaurants and coaching inns promise relaxed browsing and evenings out.

Further afield, explore the riverside town of Matlock and neighbouring Matlock Bath, home to Gulliver’s Kingdom, the Peak District Mining Museum and the famous cable car to the Heights of Abraham with its show caves and panoramic views. Round off your stay with a day at magnificent Chatsworth House and Gardens, medieval Haddon Hall and the market town of Bakewell, or seek thrills at Alton Towers theme park, before returning to Courtyard View at Longford Hall Farm for another special evening in Derbyshire.
