This is a top class theme park with plenty to do for the whole family. From thrilling rides to more gentle activities for the little ones this place is ideal. The best thing is that 50% of their attractions are under cover so the British weather needn't spoil the fun.

Heights of Abraham - DE4 3PT

This unique attraction combines an array of activities. If you have a look on their website there are some good video clips which give an even better idea of what this attraction is all about. Some of the highlights include the Cable Car system which is actually Britain's first alpine style cable car system. You are transported from the valley floor right up above where you can enjoy superb Dewent Valley Views. You can also stroll around 60 acres of wooded hillside on foot to see an array of birds and wildlife.

The toddler time sessions take place during term times on week days from 9.30am until 2.30pm and are very popular. A new baby changing facility has now been installed together with some new chairs making this a clean and welcoming attraction for families. The purpose of the British Wildlife Rescue Centre is to treat and care for injured wildlife which cannot be released into the wild.
