This cottage was amazingbeautiful grounds and so many rooms in the cottage. The pool was lovely and our kids did not want to leave it. I personally fell in love with the kitchen especially the oven. We did not want to leave. Thank you.

Our time there as a group of 14 and 1 dog was glorious . We enjoyed the pool and the grounds . It was safe for us all ,we did woodland walks and enjoyed the facilities. Thankyou ,banged our heads a couple of times and more on low ceilings . A couple of things reported. The dishwasher second drawer never worked . There was a blockage and we triedto clear it . The top drawer worked. Also we asked for a bed to made up for a twin bed for our granddaughters and that did not happen . So fortunately we bought another inflatable bed in case . Also the leak from the first floor bathroom through the kitchen ceiling . Norman says it was an historic problem . There was a wasp nest and norman had tried to deal with it . He said he would try again .
I would start with, the property is set in amazing surroundings. The pool was enjoyed by the children. This property was listed as having a hot tub by Sykes. There was no hot tub. the owner had not decided whether to get one and in the end decided against it. As of 6th August 2025, the property is still showing a hot tub available. Had we have known there was not a hot tub we would not have booked this property. We have our annual family holiday every year where we all get together and we all pick what we would like at a property to rent. This really spoiled our holiday. We were only able to use one shower as the main bathroom shower leaked down to the kitchen. Luckily no one slipped on the shiny kitchen floor. Only half of the dishwasher worked and you couldnt put the big plates in the dishwasher so we purchased rubber gloves for the washing up. Overall, this property is in a wonderful location with a great pool, but it is in need of maintenance seriously impacted the enjoyment of our holiday.
