About Red Oak Lodge

The historic market town of Tewkesbury is just 2 miles away, offering independent shops, riverside walks and the magnificent abbey, while nearby Bredon Hill provides scenic walking routes and panoramic views. For exploring further afield, the Malvern Hills, Forest of Dean and wider Cotswolds are all within easy reach.

Popular attractions including Sudeley Castle, Cotswold Farm Park, All Things Wild, Birdland, Westonbirt Arboretum and Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo offer plenty of opportunities for memorable days out. At the heart of the lodge is a spacious open-plan living area designed for spending quality time together.

The contemporary lounge offers comfortable seating and a Smart TV, while the well-equipped kitchen and dining space create a sociable setting for cooking and enjoying meals. Sleeping up to six guests, the property features one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms, all equipped with TVs.

The main bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room and WC, while a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC serves the remaining bedrooms. Wi-Fi is available throughout the lodge.

Outside, an enclosed decked area provides a private space to relax, complete with outdoor seating and a hot tub where guests can soak up the far-reaching valley views. Parking is available for two vehicles, with one space adjacent to the lodge and a second nearby.

Guests can make the most of the shared on-site facilities, including a seasonal lakeside café and bar, water sports equipment hire available from March to October, a gym and beauty treatment services (additional charges apply). A complimentary welcome pack awaits on arrival.

Puzzlewood is a somewhat unique attraction within the beautiful Forest of Dean. Visitors can explore the mile of pathways passing over wooden bridges and through some stunning tree and rock formations. The maze of pathways are quite enchanting and the site has recently been used as a location for the BBC1 production of Merlin. While enjoying the splendour of nature there are many types of wildlife to meet along the way including Shetland ponies, Donkeys and Highland Cattle. A Hocus Pokus Halloween event takes place from the 24th to the 31st of October.
