The Country Retreat Reviews

Anna
Superb, luxury house, perfect for cosy winters. There are multiple open fires (and plenty of dry wood) including the spectacular inglenook in the dining hall. A real treat for a grown up weekend away to celebrate our collective 40ths.
Paul
One of the best holidays we've had in this country. We had 18 people there for 2 friends 60th birthday celebration and not one single negative comment from anybody throughout our 4 day stay. We all said it was fantastic with great facilities and comfortable. Not to mention the stunning views and the historic property itself.
Peter
A stunning property, wonderful for our Easter family gathering to also celebrate a special birthday. Spacious, delightfully furnished and decorated, a real Tudor mansion. The gardens are extensive, wonderful for our children to get lost in and provided the perfect location for a challenging Easter Egg hunt!
Charlotte
Broadfield is a beautiful house. So much thought has gone into every room to make it the best it can possibly be. The communication before we arrived was brilliant and on arrival it was clear that if we needed anything we only had to ask. We were within east reach of shops if we needed them, however the surroundings really made you feel like you weRead morere miles away from day to day life. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend the house to anyone. Hide
