Henhouse Farm Reviews

Lauren
This property was beautiful. We had the most amazing time here, there are so many lovely places to go out walking and some nice pubs around. The views from the cottage can not be overstated, I honestly could have stood outside looking across the countryside for hours. The property is very secluded which we loved as it felt like we had left the world behind.

Excellent property, so clean and well presented with super surroundings and space for 10 adults. More mugs and water tumbler glasses would be perfect. Definitely the best propertyholiday weve had recently.
We thought the property was excellent. It was well maintained to a high standard and the setting and views were fantastic. We were lucky that we enjoyed sunshine all week. I think the track leading to the house may have presented some problems if the weather had been wet. Overall we all enjoyed our stay very much.
Lovely house surrounded by nature. Our only neighbours were the deer, foxes and pheasants that passed right through the garden. Red Kites above the house. Felt exclusive coming up the long drive. Great decor. All rooms are a good size. Top quality decor. Good friendly local pub with good food. We walked to the Queens Aboretum which is great and the Chatsworth Court House is a pleasant walk to the bottom of the hill.

All absolutely beautiful, we had a wonderful stay. Our daughter in law said it was the best bed that shes ever slept in. It was very well equipped, with a very nice welcome pack! Great crisps and apple juice, amongst other things. Just a couple of suggestions about the kitchen. I couldnt find a tray. The mugs too small really and another water jug would be good. It was freezing in the annex bedroom when we arrived and even though we put the heater on we were freezing on the first night sleeping in our dressing gowns and socks. Everything was so wonderful that we wouldnt like to advise that as a complaint but it was an error! I had to wash the dishes by hand on the last evening as the dishwasher had a fault. We showed this to the cleaner. One glass had a chip in it so we put it to one side. Thank you, we would love to return!
Alison
Absolutely fabulous property , couldnt fault it at all. Very clean, spacious & everything provided. All bedrooms en suite . The house was beautifully decorated. Lovely quiet location for a group who want to relax & enjoy each others company. The Hot tub was amazing & with a one bedroom annex attached. We lost an item when we left & the management team of the house were really helpful in finding it & returning to us. Thank you.
