A lovely lodge, their is only one thing i would like to point out is the Sofas, not used to these type of sofas had to put a cover on them so as not to slip off, not very comfortable to sit on either. Picture fell off the bathroom wall while my daughter was showering, which upset her as she has special needs. I did inform the reception about this. She absolutely loved the pool and the Hot tub. The park was well kept. Staff very friendly and helpful , a really lovely part of the country never been before would certainly come back.

We booked this holiday as we needed a quiet break and with the addition of fishing what a winner we enjoyed everything the site is so very well run and maintained our lodge was in such a good location the only negative was the settees were not comfortable as the springs have gone in them but it would not stop us using the holiday lodges again so thank you for the lovely holiday and bye the way the staff were great with us at your end when we booked it so thank you for that also

The property is beautiful, however recommendations going forward to improve my feedback would be 1. New comfy sofas needed 2. New master bedpillows need improving as not particularly comfortable 3. Some hooks for coats in the hall and simple shoe storage 4. Shelf in shower for toiletries over door hooks in bathroomensuite 5. Some sort of roof cover over the hot tub sliding for 6. Some maintenance work needed by carpark pathway as this was flooding due to rain we had to jump it, an older person couldnt have managed this.

Beautiful lodge, had everything for a home away from home, the site is immaculate, helpful staff and the fishing was good, already recommended to friends and they have booked. Will definitely book again.

This was idyllic, I could happily have lived there full time. The lodge was very well equipped and very comfortable. The site was very clean and so peaceful. When we did have contact with anyone, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We came back very rested.

We really enjoyed our stay at callow lodge. The grounds of the park were peaceful and very well kept. We particularly enjoyed watching the ducks and other birds in and around the lakes. The accommodation itself was clean and spacious and it was great to be able to relax in the hot tub of an evening time. The pool and steam room are a little dated but well priced and usable. The croft restaurant on site was excellent. We would thoroughly recommend staying here if you want a peaceful and relaxing stay in the Shropshire countryside.

Friendly, efficient down to earth staff. Lodge immaculate and well equipped, well kept grounds. Food at the on site restaurant ' The Croft' was excellent. Exercise paddock to let your dogs have a run. Site is secure at night, your provided with fob to allow you back on site and is permanently locked between 12 and 6am. Vacating time is 9am and found like 3 others that the reception was closed so we all posted our keys through the letter box, hope this was ok?

The check in and out times on your listing 3pm check in were different to the holiday site ones 4pm, then our check in times were again altered due to the current situation! This was only brought to our attention the day before we traveled during a call to the holiday site. Also on the listing you stated the lodge had WIFI, you failed to note that it was only in the small receptioncaf area which has limited access. This was annoying as we had taken items that need WIFI. The holiday site was peaceful and well maintained and we were very happy with the lodge. The on site restaurant served lovely food and would highly recommend a visit. The sofas in the lodge weren't the most comfortable to relax on but everything else was good. would visit again and recommend the holiday site. Had a peaceful relaxing holiday

Met with great welcoming touches such as the heating being on and the flame effect electric fire display glowing. Very welcoming. Great place to stay.

The hot tub was not clean felt greasy and very stained Towels I feel should not last one week The cabin was lovely

Everything was top standard here. There was no washing machine in the cabin and I used the laundry room , especially the spin drier for swimming costumes. This room was well equipped. The restaurant was open for 4 nights, Thurs to Sunday lunchtime. We ate there twice and the food was fine but not cheap. So peaceful,just to wander around the two pondslakes watching the ducklings and carp. Tesco and Lidl are close with the Park and Ride into Shrewsbury which we used. There is an hourly boat trip round the loop which is pleasant. For walkers Hawkshead Follies is only 6 miles away.Well worth a visit. Delightful area of the country.
