This one-of-a-kind glamping-style retreat creates a cosy escape on the Welsh–English border. It’s perfect for couples or small families looking to slow down and reconnect with nature.
Set within a peaceful meadow in the rural village of Bronington, the property combines comfort with a playful nautical theme and thoughtful touches throughout. The surrounding countryside is ideal for outdoor adventures – head to Llyn Bedydd (1.5 miles) for tranquil lakeside walks and birdwatching, or visit the beautiful historic grounds of Iscoyd Park (3 miles).
For family days out, Farm Adventure Shropshire (1 mile) is close by, and the bustling market town of Whitchurch (6 miles) is the place to go for shops, cafés, pubs and a mainline rail station. Further afield, the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley (15 miles) offers sweeping views and scenic walking trails.
Stepping inside, guests are welcomed with a complimentary hamper for two, setting the tone for a relaxed stay. The yurt’s open-plan space is warm and inviting, centred around a cosy AGA-style wood burner to keep you toasty on cooler evenings.
The sleeping area features a cosy queen-size bed plus a pull-out sofa bed that creates a double-size double bed, making it a flexible space for up to four guests. A compact cooking area within the yurt allows for simple meal preparation.
Outside, you’ll have your own miniature flower and vegetable garden, along with a seating area, BBQ and fire pit for laid-back al fresco dining. The highlight is the private hot tub, where you can soak up the peaceful surroundings after a day of exploring.
The nearby shed is home to a larger shared kitchen, which has additional cooking facilities when you need them. The shed also contains a private wet room for daily showers and serves as a welcoming communal hub, with games, a pool table, table tennis, comfortable seating, a bar area and another wood burner – perfect for socialising or unwinding indoors.
