About Hope Lodge

This luxury lodge is located in the picturesque village of Hope, which is in the heart of the idyllic Shropshire Hills AONB. Shropshire is known for its beautiful and diverse countryside.

Hope offers a tranquil and scenic setting, providing an opportunity for visitors to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. The area is a haven for walkers and there is access from the property on to the Stiperstones, a popular hill with trails offering stunning views across the countryside.

The majestic Powis Castle (13 miles) is worth a visit to get an understanding of the history of the area and explore the beautiful gardens. Shrewsbury is 14 miles away, well known for its charming medieval architecture, scenic riverside setting, and rich history that unfolds through cobbled streets, Tudor houses, and the iconic Shrewsbury Castle.

Head across to Church Stretton (19 miles), a popular town for walkers with the National Trust-owned Long Mynd being a real highlight. This wonderful lodge is on part of the owner’s property but offers complete privacy and has been finished to a high standard throughout, ensuring a relaxing stay for friends and families in the Shropshire Hills.

Make your way into your spacious rural retreat and kick off boots and hang coats in the well-designed entrance to the open-plan living space. The main living room is a lovely spot to relax on one of the comfortable sofas or enjoy a movie together as a group on the large Smart TV.

Views from the lounge look across the enclosed garden and over to the Stiperstones. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you will need for a self-catered holiday, and there is a dining table that will comfortably seat six.

Moving back through the lodge, you will find the three bedrooms, and three bathrooms. The well thought out design makes this lodge an idea choice for all types of groups.

The Great Hall is home to some amazing collections of paintings as well as sculptures and tapestries. The gardens are world famous with stunning areas of French and Italian style as well as a gorgeous orangery. Children's activities can be enjoyed during school holidays and on special occasions such as Halloween and Christmas.

Hoo Farm Animal Kingdom - TF6 6DJ

Locally renowned for the Sheep Steeple chasing and daily goat races this is a really unique family attraction that the kids will love.  You can really get hands on with the farm animals with the animal handling sessions and you can have a go at teaching the parrots to talk!  The crazy craft cabin will keep even the most creative entertained with pottery and painting amongst other things. When you are in need of a rest head for the The Hungry Shepherd Tea Room where you can enjoy a bite to eat and children can burn even more energy in the indoor play area.
