If the sun is shining, then head outside into the front garden area to dine alfresco and take in the countryside views. After you’ve had some dinner, pick out your swimwear for a dip in the hot tub to sink into the evening and enjoy the bubbles as the sun goldens the sky.

Once the stars are out, head back inside to curl up by the woodburning stove on the double bed. In the mornings, start your day just right with a refreshing shower ahead of more holiday fun.

A shop and a pub are both short drives away for any essentials or a meal out. In Welshpool, be sure to explore the expansive gardens around the Powis Castle, have a stroll through the Llyn Coed y Dinas Nature Reserve, or take in the scenery on a ride at the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway.

In Montgomery, take in the ruins of the Montgomery Castle dating back to the 11th century, look at some fascinating exhibits at The Old Bell Museum, or walk through the Pwll Penarth Nature Reserve. Go slightly further afield and cross into England to see the picturesque sights in the Shropshire Hills National Landscape, go for a bike ride through the Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd, or go on a hike in the Stiperstones National Nature Reserve.
