Upon entering the property itself, the entrance hallway features period tiled flooring, which acts as a fine precursor for what is in store here. Venture into the kitchen, where along the walls are striking Granny Smith Apple green painted cabinets, topped by sleek black worktops, where you will find a quality range of appliances to assist you in cooking up family-favourite recipes, in addition to a handy dishwasher and a washing machine so that you barely have to lift a finger whilst on holiday, bliss!

From here, find the living/dining room, boasting a traditional feature fireplace and sash windows, which gives an immediate sense of the history of this Victorian home. Tradition is balanced with the 21st century by the dining table and the plush seating arrangement, inviting you in to snuggle up in front of the TV, whilst the woodburning stove sets the ambiance and offers a gentle warmth.

This was absolutely fabulous accommodation super clean, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. Everything had been thought of to make our stay an enjoyable experience. The very close car park was so convenient we booked a pass for the week and the information provided by the owners was very useful both in advance of our visit and in the accommodation. The location was very quiet but just minutes away from the town. We would highly recommend it.

One of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. It is spotlessly clean, the beds are comfortable, it has all the facilities you could need and it is situated on a quiet lane only 5 to 10 minutes walk into the centre. We would stay there again .

I've stayed in many holiday cottages and Willow View is up there with the very best of them. Extremely comfortable with everything you need, all working and of good quality. The location is great, only 10mins walk from the station and 5mins from the mediaeval old town within the Loop. The cottage is quiet, with only birdsong disturbing the air. The owners are very responsive and helpful. I recommend this cottage without hesitation and noticed in the visitors' book that many people are repeat visitors.

Our third stay at Willow View, and as enjoyable as ever. Great location in easy walking distance of the historic town centre, bus and rail stations, yet a real oasis of peace and quiet. Easy parking a stones throw away at reasonable cost. The property is an immaculately maintained Victorian house and has everything you need. The owners are on hand if you need them. Highly recommend for a stay in Shrewsbury.

A warm, comfortable, cozy house and it's beautiful and tastefully done. It smells lovely and healthy. We were so relieved when we opened the door that we were NOT hit by any of the toxic cleaning products or chemical laundry products nor any artificial fragrance stuff that most places use. The location is just perfect, very quiet and peaceful, yet only 5 10 mins walk to the center. Everything was great. Thank you Paul and Sarah. If I may make suggestion it would be even more wonderful to have sharpened knives, a vegetable peeler, and some foil in the kitchen.

This is a superb place to stay in Shrewsbury and so handy for the town. Really interesting house packed full of character. The owners Paul and Sarah have thought of everything and it is a great place to stay. Did not use the car oncewe either walked or took the train. The welcome gifts were lovelythe wine so much that I bought a bottle from Tanners wine merchants. Best place we have stayed in Shrewsbury and we have been a lot to the town. On our approved list of places to stay again list. Recommended.

Lovely place to stay when visiting Shrewsbury and the surrounding areas. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood and is a short walk over the footbridge to high street. The home is cozy and well equipped for short or long term stays. The host communication is excellent and we will stay here again when we are in the area.

Excellent accommodation within easy walking distance of the centre of Shrewsbury. A large public car park, with simple payment system, is located a couple of minutes walk from the house. Also bustrain stations nearby. We would definitely choose to stay in this property when visiting Shrewsbury again. Owners very helpful.

Willow View aptly named was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed and decorated. Its close proximity to the town of Shrewsbury was ideal for us and we were able to walk to all the tourist sites, including the castle, the Abbey, the Prison, the Market Hall, the Quarry, the Museum and Art Gallery and the town walls! Using the adjacent carpark worked very successfully, by using an app. Paul and Sarah were very helpful, sending information and tips for eating beforehand and providing a house manual. We found Shrewsbury to have an amazing variety of eating places and endless individual shops. We highly recommend you take this opportunity to visit and book Willow View with Sykes.

We loved this holiday property . It has been renovated stylishly but sympathetically , feeling cosy but spacious with some lovely touches . Well equipped with all you need for an enjoyable holiday . Great location too , easy access to the town , cheap car park nearby but also close to the attractive river walks . Cant fault it .

Fabulous property in a great location. Everything you need for a great holiday in Shrewsbury in a property with a homely welcoming feel. We really enjoyed our time and would love to come again. I was a bit concerned about parking before we arrived but the property was less than two minutes walk from the car park and we had no issues all week. Absolutely ten out of ten.

We loved Willow View! It had everything anyone could wish for a beautifully laid out kitchen with everything at hand, everywhere was clean to a high standard, comfortable beds and a large bright bathroom including a bath. While we were there it snowed so we made full use of the log burner in the lounge, we were so warm and cosy we didnt want to move anywhere! There was excellent communication between ourselves and Paul throughout our stay. Weve recommended Willow View to friends and family and we have already booked a return visit. Excellent and well equiped property.

This is a lovely holiday home which has been prepared with care and thought to the holiday maker. It is well equipped, comfortable and standards of cleanliness are high. The big plus is the location which is so central street parking would be challenging but Frankwell is fine as long as the river hasnt flooded.

We have stayed in UK holiday cottages for many years and Willow View was without doubt one of the best we have found. Clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance of the centre of Shrewsbury. Although parking is in a public car park the payment is simple through an app and it is no distance from the house. Thoroughly recommended. We will definitely return.

Willow View is a delightfully furnished cottage which we found impeccably clean, and with every comfort provided . We were delighted to see how much the owners have introduced ECo friendly products to the property. The beds were extremely comfortable, the shower very efficient, and washing machine and dishwasher all available and in tiptop working order. We had a very happy, comfortable and relaxing week here, which we intend to repeat at some point in the future. Thank you for all the effort and thought put into making this property a real home from home.

Had a most enjoyable break in Shrewsbury. Willow View was perfect very comfortable, and to a very high standard with thoughtful touches. I certainly appreciated it all. Location ideal, quiet and convenient for walking into town. Will most certainly book again.

We enjoyed a pleasant winter week here and made full use of the woodburner. We appreciated the general cleanliness and high quality of the fittings crockery fixtures bedding etc. The general area and neighbours were very quiet. It was also nice to have some milk in the fridge for us, and a few treats on arrival. After seeing the local parking situation we decided buy a weekly ticket for the car park and it is good, literally 3 minutes walk away and down a slight incline.

The accommodation was well kept and extremely homely. The owners checked in with us and provided useful information for our stay. Everything was within walking distance, so it was great not using the car. We would definitely use this accommodation again.

This was a super place to stay for us. So close to the middle of beautiful Shrewsbury, yet incredibly quiet and peaceful. The house is, calm, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The bed was comfortable and the main bedroom had lovely views across the garden to trees. The owners had thought carefully about guests' possible questions and the welcome information was clear and helpful which helped us. There were also plenty of books and games should a rainy day be on the cards. Thought had been given to ecofriendly toiletries and cleaning products and you could easily use the house as a base to explore using public transport. We felt very relaxed staying here and used it as a fantastic base to explore Shrewsbury and beautiful Shropshire. In our opinion, an ideal place to stay for a couple or family with younger children.
