Swirral Edge Cottage enjoys a truly special location at the foot of Helvellyn, one of England’s most iconic mountains, and is named after the famous ridge walk, Swirral Edge. The cottage sits on the site of the historic Greenside Mine, once quarried for silver and now part of a popular route to the summit.

In snowy conditions, the area takes on a ski-chalet feel, with the slopes nearby forming part of the Lake District Ski Club. The property is set above the shores of Ullswater and within walking distance of Glenridding, where you’ll find traditional pubs, cafés, shops, and outdoor hire centres for e-bikes, canoes, and sailing equipment.
