Step inside to a grand double-height entrance hall, where a solid oak staircase sets the tone for the elegance throughout. A cloakroom and dedicated study make remote working effortless, while the heart of the home is the open-plan kitchen and dining area.

Here you’ll find an American fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and a utility room with a washer and dryer, ideal for longer stays. After a day of exploring, unwind in the spacious lounge with a Smart TV and the glow of a woodburning stove, perfect for chilly evenings.

The outdoor space is a true showstopper. A large lawned garden invites relaxation, but the highlights are the bubbling hot tub in the rear, offering serene views under the stars, and the incredible glass dining pod in the front.

This unique feature is equipped with heating, making it the ultimate spot for alfresco dining in any season. Upstairs, three beautifully appointed bedrooms await: a master suite with dressing area, exposed beams, open eaves, and en-suite shower room; a stylish double; and a flexible twin with zip/link beds and TV.

A family bathroom with bath, basin, and WC serves the remaining rooms, while underfloor heating powered by an air source system ensures year-round comfort. Just down the road in Wintersett is the Anglers Retreat, known to locals as 'The Sett' to enjoy a tipple.

And why not enjoy a walk around the beautiful reservoir or Haw Park woods which are just on you doorstep, as well as many bike trails and plenty of water sports for you to do. Or visit the nearby village of Crofton, which offers a local shop and welcoming pub, and enjoy the surrounding area rich with attractions.

Located in the Castleford area of West Yorkshire this is a fun family day out with loads of activities under one roof.   For the energetic there is a real snow slop for skiing and rock climbing walls.  For the more laid back then there is a cinema and bowling alley.  This place caters for all ages and there are seasonal events on throughout the year too. A day trip to Stillingfleet Lodge Gardens is the perfect way to relax with several gardens to explore in the grounds of a historic farmhouse. The gardens were established 30 years ago and each has something different to offer. Expect to find dramatic displays of foliage and flowers as well as beautifully landscaped areas. Families will enjoy the woodland which leads to a wildlife pond and a beautiful wildflower meadow. The site runs morning courses in gardening throughout the summer which are priced at just £12 and include coffee. There is also a nursery onsite where plants can be purchased. Entry to the gardens cost just £4 for adults and 50p for children.
