This attractive lodge sits on the outskirts of the fascinating market town of Richmond, a place showcasing a beautiful castle, a museum and a wealth of excellent activities and amenities to make the most of.

The magnificent Yorkshire Dales National Park is close by, dominated by its undulating dales and quaint villages. The beautiful Market town of Leyburn is 5 miles away from the Lodge with a wide array of pubs and restaurants, and has marker every Friday.

Other popular tourist spots include Barndard Castle and Leyburn. Badgers Retreat is a fabulous lodge in an ideal setting for a break in North Yorkshire.

The small market town of Masham famous for it's brewery's is 12 miles away, perfect for a lazy stroll, also once a month there is a farmer's market. Middleham is only 15 minutes away which has a rich horse racing heritage.

Richard III castle 10 mins. Steeped in English history and regular re-enactments take place here.
