About 2 Moor Farm Cottages

In a tranquil, rural setting, this charming semi-detached cottage lies in the East Riding of Yorkshire, a short drive from the popular seaside town of Hornsea and the historic market town of Beverley. Tastefully furnished and renovated to a high standard, it provides a wonderful holiday home for families and friends to explore both the Yorkshire Wolds and the coast.

Warm and welcoming, the sitting room has comfy sofas, with a cosy woodburning stove to relax by. At the back of the property is a bright and spacious, modern L shaped kitchen with a handy breakfast bar, a dining table and additional comfortable seating - a lovely sociable area to gather and plan the next days outing.

Upstairs, are three modern chic bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower and all with pleasant views over the countryside. The extensive, enclosed lawned garden offers a secure space for children and dogs to play, with two separate seating areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine and the added benefit of a bubbling hot tub in which to relax in after a busy day sight seeing, walking or cycling.

Close by is Burton Constable Hall and gardens, well worth a visit, Close by is the old market town of Hedon popular Forest Church, pubs and shops, whilst the short drive to Hornsea brings you to a traditional seaside resort with long sandy beaches, a variety of interesting shops and a good selection of restaurants and country pubs. For something different take a trip to Hornsea Mere which is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips.

Take a visit to Hull for a day out, which was the City of Culture for 2017 and is home to The Deep Aquatic Centre. Be sure to take a day trip to York, an hours drive, with its famous Minster, Jorvic Viking Museum and medieval streets.

A brilliant property for the children & dog. Plenty of room downstairs for them to play. The garden was the best thing about the property They were able to play outside safely and enough room to ride their bikes
2 Moor Farm Cottages is a very comfortable spacious holiday accomodation in a lovely quiet countryside setting. Well placed to visit everything that East Riding has to offer. The large secure garden was great for our dog and the hot tub loved by our grandchildren.

What a great cottage. The cottage was very clean and decorated to a nice standard. The garden was great, all enclosed for the dog with loads of room for the kids to kick a ball, plus the added bonus of a hot tub, which was tested every day. Perfectly located to access various areas of East Yorkshire. Great hosts. Would highly recommend

This cottage was perfectly situated for our needs. The hot tub was very well used by the 3 children and 2 adults!! Caroline showed us the fairy garden beyond the property which brew my daughters mind. We also saw the baby stag who caroline said had decided to make this place his home! You can see why! Perfect access to horses, hull and mr moos cream parlour with yeh best fossil beach! It was such a wonderful holiday. Thank you so so much

The cottage was home from home. Had everything we needed very clean. It was in an ideal place for what we wanted to do. The garden was perfect for our dog.
We had a lovely week at this cottage. It was extremely clean, it had everything we needed and an enclosed garden for the dog. It was central to everywhere we wanted to visit. The lady next door is the managercaretaker of the cottage, she was very approachable and helpful. We liked it so much that we are hoping to book another week here in the next few months.

A lovely, peaceful property, looking out across open fields. Well equipped for self catering. A huge enclosed garden for children and a dog. The stairs are rather steep, and creaky, and if you have children I would recommend taking a stair gate with you for the top of the stairs. Not provided If you need to borrow a cot and highchair, they will be provided but like us, email the owners directly to make sure. The hot tub is looked after for you by a very nice gentleman, who is not intrusive at all. There is plenty to do within the area and if you go to Hornsea for a stroll along the prom, the parking is free, which is a bonus, as most coastal places you have to pay. After a family discussion, we would go back to this property. So book it, you wont be disappointed.
Peaceful, rural location. Ideal for visiting Spurn Head, Beverley, Hull and the coastal resorts nearby. The cottage is clean, comfortable and very spacious. and has a lovely, secure garden for our dog to play in. We had a very relaxed week and enjoyed use of the hot tub which was maintained daily. Welcoming and friendly owner next door and on hand if needed.

We had a fantastic stay. The house was perfect for our requirements. The garden was lovely, perfect for our son and dog. We loved the hot tub. It wa a really good size. It's in a good location and tastefully decorated. we would love to stay again.
A lovely cottage with wonderful garden. The only thing that let it down was the need to make several attempts to contact the owner to arrange key collection. Nonetheless, if we are in the area again Im sure we will look to stay here.

Lovely quiet place with plenty of room for everyone and the Hot tub was a big bonus. The 2 sisters who looked after the place were very lovely and helpful and when we had an issue with the heating they were round within 5 minutes to sort.

Lovely comfortable cottage, lovely back garden, our 2 dogs loved it. My 2 daughters and grown up grandaughter loved the hot tub. The weather was kind to us and we managed to get out and about. Hope to visit again.

We had a wonderful week at this cottage over New Year. On arrival the cottage was warm and welcoming, even some Christmas lights and decorations. The cottage had all the facilities that were advertised and felt like home from home, it was very clean. The hot tub was used on several occasions and was easy to manage. We would definitely recommend staying at this cottage.

From start to finish we had a great time in a lovely cottage. Garden was brill for our dog. Hot tub was used although minimally. Log fire was great. The cottage has been tastefully transformed into a lovely home from home. The only thing I would advise is for guests with kids or dogs that arent used to stairs, to take a mobile stair gate for the top of the stairs for peace of mind. Defo a lovely place and i would stay again.

A truly wonderful holiday home! Clean, well decorated, comfortable and spacious. The hot tub is huge! The garden is a great size and the extra area at the bottom was a bonus for our dog.

Our stay at the cottage was so relaxing. The rural setting was beautifully quiet and the hot tub overlooking the fields was perfect after a day out. We were really impressed with the size of the rooms bigger than we expected, and the large secure garden for our dog. Beds were very comfy and there was plenty of storage. The property was spotless. Great property. Perfect location. Excellent surroundings. Perfect size for our family . Also perfect for dog owners Very secure fenced in garden .local pub restaurant and shops not to far away . Nothing was to much trouble for the owners, always there if you needed anything. This property we would give a a 10 10

2 Moor Farm Cottages was lovely and just what my family of five needed. The owners were very helpful and thoughtful, they had set up a Christmas tree for our stay which delighted my children as they were missing home. We will stay next time we come back to England. Thank you.
No logs were provided and when we took the bedding off our bed on departure we found the pillows covers and Duvet wasnt fit for purpose ie. Pillows out of shape protectors Bobbly rubbed up and Duvet was ripped and lumpy very old extremely well worn The Hot Tub had no shelter over it or around it so very open to the elements we feel the cottage was not Sykes Standard so disappointed
Wonderful house and location,very peaceful and owners were lovely,had small issue with hot tub and was resolved very quickly. Very Spacious and clean and lovely and warm,hot tub was realy good and house everything you need .Central location to get to lots of places nearby .
A wonderful stay in a very comfortable cottage. The downstairs living space is very well laid out with plenty of space for the 6 of us 4 adults and 2 teenagers. We all loved the hot tub and the garden overlooking the fields. Would thoroughly recommend!

A short but relaxing stay. The cottage was well maintained and furnished to a high standard. Lovely view from the hot tub in the garden. Small touches of an email in advance of our stay and flowers and cake on arrival extra touches to make us feel welcomed. A Fabulous place, highly recommend it.

Cottage was very spacious and clean. The owner who lives nextdoor was friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. The cottage had everything we needed and felt homely. The gardens were also well kept and were a lovely space to enjoy outdoor dining and the added bonus of the hot tub with views across the fields.
We had a lovely stay at this cottage, super safe garden for the kids and dog, very clean and spacious. Caroline was lovely and sorted the hot tub daily and was on hand should any issues arise we had none. A quiet and tranquil stay. Interior was lovely, comfy bed and well stocked kitchen, which was super helpful for preparing meals. Close to the beach and other country walks. Will definitely return, thanks for making our first doggy holiday super safe and relaxing. See you again soon.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage. The facilities were excellent, the cottage comfortable, extremely clean and well looked after. Although we had between 2 4 people staying, there is plenty of space and bedroom facilities for 6. The owners were friendly and available if anything was needed. The hot tub was great to sit and look around the garden, watch the wildlife and sunset. You will not be disappointed if you book this cottage!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at Moor cottage. The photos really don't do it justice, the property was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, all to a high standard . The country views from all the bedrooms were delightful. Our favourite though, was the beautiful garden, where we spent much of our time playing games and exploring. The hot tub was huge and used daily whilst we settled back and listened to the sound of birdsong. I thoroughly recommend this cottage and we hope to be back at some time in the near future.
