Heaven! If you need to switch off from everyday chaotic life then this is the place for you. The Lodge is spacious and has everything you could need. It's super clean and organised. The hot tub is fantastic our children spent most of the holiday in there! Days out to Scarborough, Whitby and York are not too far. One of the best places I've stayed.
We had a lovely stay at Hare Hill. The lodge was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The setting was peaceful and it was a lovely place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed our time here. The lodge has a lovely feel to it. Thank you for the lovely welcome hamper, it was a thoughtful touch.
Hare's Hill is an amazing place to stay, with loads of thought given by the owners to everything you'll need for a comfortable, luxurious stay in North Yorkshire. It's within striking distance of Pickering, Whitby, Scarborough, Malton and Thornton le Dale we did them all, along with the Driffield Show that happened to be on while we were there. Dalby Forest literally around the corner. A week wasn't enough time to pack everything in. Having a field for a dog right behind the property was great and he loved running around there every day. The sheep, ducks and chickens were all characters and obviously well looked after. There's a pub just a few minutes walk mostly open evenings only with the exception of Sunday but many others just a short drive away. Really can't recommend this place enough. Hopefully we'll be back in the winter for dark skies and to try the log burner.
The best one yet! Everything was perfect!
Beautiful place, very welcoming. Love the area, just a very nice place for a relaxing week with our dog.

What a fabulous property. Scott and Nicole have really got the rightvrecipe for a great holiday base here. A lovely personal welcome on arrival and very comfortable facilities. Things are well organised and nicely thought out in a lot of ways. The cottage is in a good location for days out to the moors, interesting towns and cities and also the coast. A lot of care and thought has gone into this and we very much appreciated it.
Have recently returned from our holiday in Hares Hill Lodge at Allerston. The property was warm and comfortable and the facilities were first class, with even dog treats and bedding provided, although that wasnt used as we always take a crate for our dog and for which there was ample space. We cannot give any feedback on the cooking facilities as we ate out each day and only having limited meals at the lodge. The owners Scott and Nicole could not do enough to make any stay pleasant and a well stocked welcome pack was a nice bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the lodge and will be returning in the near future.
It was our third time at the Hideway, this time at Hares Hill,as always clean ,well equipped nice and quiet, the welcome pack was much appreciated, hot tub a bonus,we will be back soon.
Hares Hill was perfect in every way! ! Absolutely spotless, gorgeous through out. Beds were so comfy, probably the best weve ever slept!! Fixtures and fittings to a very high standard. Fully equipped with everything you need plus bottle of fizz was a lovely gesture. Very easy to get too, off road parking right next the property, Hot Tub was great!! Would NOT hesitate in booking this property again. 5 star plus!! Thanks again for everything!! We had such a lovely time. Sarah, Andy and Abi
